Emily's POV
"Naomi. Put. Down. My. Son," I told her when she started rocking Christian back and forth in her arms. My blood came to a boil but I quickly put a robe on and threw my bath towel to the side.
"This should have been my child, my child with Sebastian. Not Yours!" her voice grew louder and Christian started crying.
"Naomi, just put him back in his crib, he has nothing to do with anything. He's a baby! Are you crazy? We can get you the help that you need."
"Don't you psychoanalyze me! I'm not crazy!"
"Okay," I told her as I put my hands up to look defeated and made small steps towards her. She was distracted by Christian's crying and was humming a song to make him stop as she continued to rock him in her nasty arms.
I reached her and she handed him over to me without another word. Her facial expression was blanked and she appeared to be distraught. I rested Christian back into his crib and when I turned around to face Naomi again, she was holding a knife.
"What are you doing? How did you even get in here?" I asked her without any fear.
"You're not the only one who knows about secret passages in this lousy, backstabbing castle. And I'm a master at picking locks."
"Of course you are, but you're supposed to be in jail."
She let out a sinister laughter. "My mother is the Queen of Scots. You really think she'll allow her daughter, her only child, to go to prison?"
I heaved a sigh and slapped the knife from her hands. It slide underneath the bed, out of er reach.
"In that case, I'll make you wish that you were in jail! COME HERE!" I launched at her, grabbing her by the hair and throwing her almost half way across the room.
"I've had enough of you, you bitch!" I yelled at her as she crashed onto Christian's wooden desk. She coiled to the floor, holding her back.
"You slapped me, you pushed me over the stairs and sent me into a coma, but you should have never touch my child!" I pulled her to her feet and punched her face as hard as I could.
"No body messes with my child!" I yelled as I punched her even harder. She fell again with a bloody mouth. She spat at my feet and looked up with a chuckle.
"Is that the best you got?" she asked and her voice drove anger all through me. I wanted to strangle her with my bare hands and hang her lifeless body in the very entrance of the castle as a prize but I realized I was better than her. I stopped my attack.
I thought about calling security and when my back was turned, Naomi did her most favorite thing. She ambushed.
I was struck in the back of my neck with a bedroom light. She swung at me again but I dodged successfully every time. When she swung and hit another table miserably, I kicked the light out of her hands.
I grabbed her head and knocked it against the table next, over and over. She screamed in agony but I was now at a stage where I wanted to hurt her. A stage where she'll look in the mirror and always remember this beat down I've given to her.
She stumbled backwards and tried to regain her composure before trying to attack me again. "When I'm done with you, I'm going to kill that son of yours!"
That was my breaking point and I didn't wait until she ran up on me. I ran to her and wrestled her to the floor.
What she didn't know was that I was trained to fight. My father and two of his security guards taught me exactly how to defend myself, and dish out an ass-wooping, and even how to break some bones.
I held her arm in an arm bar and bent in all the way back until I heard a pop and her screaming increased. She rolled all over the floor, tears pouring from her crocodile eyes as she clutched her broken arm with the other one.
I picked myself up and went to get Christian in his crib before going to get security. As soon as I opened the door, two men were rushing to my bedroom.
"Your Highness, we heard screaming."
"Princess Naomi tried to attack me."
"Oh my goodness, are you alright?"
"I'm fine. She inside the bedroom."
They rushed in and their eyes popped with surprise when they saw the state I felt her in. Regardless of her pains, they handled her out of the room and out of the castle.
I called Sebastian as a maid rested an ice pack on the back of my neck. He answered after the third ring.
"Baby, you had me worried. I've been trying to call you. Is everything okay? How's Christian doing?" his concerned voice came.
"He's fine, a little shaken up but he'll be okay."
"Why is he a little shaken up? What happened?"
"Naomi happened."
"WHAT!"
"She was in our bedroom when I got out the shower and she had Christian in her arms."
"WHAT! She touched my SON?" Sebastian was mad and I heard the King's voice in the background, asking Sebastian what was the matter.
"Is he okay, what did she do to you. Are you hurt?" he went on.
"Just a hit to the neck but its nothing compared to what I did to her. And to top it off, I broke her fucking arm. That would teach that bitch to never touch our son again."
"Excellent beat down, babe. I'll be home in the morning, I promise."
"I can't wait to see you. We both miss you."
"I miss you both too. Have the guards lock Naomi up and throw away the key this time."
"I think she needs help, Sebastian. She's damaged."
"I could care less about her state of mind. She attacked you and she could have hurt my son and you. I swear, if I was there right now....."
"Babe, it's okay. She's gone and you'll just have to see to it that she never comes back."
"I promise you that. I love you. I'll see you in the morning."
"I love you too. Goodnight."
"Goodnight."
We hung up and I gave Christian a gentle hug in my arms as his eyes scanned me. His eyes had a very unique combination of mine and his father's eyes. Grey and hazel.
I slept with great satisfactory and two guards were outside my bedroom door, just in case. For all I knew, Naomi could have been working with someone else. Someone like her mother, who refused to let her pay for the crimes she had committed against me.
_______
The next morning, I was awaken by kisses on the back of my neck. I flung up from the sheets, startled, but I met the most handsome face ever. My husband was home.
"Sorry if I scare you, babe."
"Hey, I wasn't expecting you so early."
"I know. I wanted to surprise you. Where's our little Christian?"
"In his crib."
"He had any problems sleeping last night?"
"Not at all. He slept just like the baby he is."
I watched as Sebastian walked over to the crib to see his darling son. He touched his tiny hands and kissed his cheek but Christian laid still sound asleep.
After breakfast, Sebastian and I went to Naomi's holding cell. Her arm was wrapped in a cast and her face was unrecognizable.
I did all that to her?
Her eyes were swollen with black circles around them. Her lips were split and blood stained. Her face held cuts and bruises all over.
"You look a hot mess," Sebastian said when we stood in front of her cell. She sat on a tiny chair with teary eyes.
"Sebastian, you came. You came to take me home and to get married to you. I love you Sebastian," she shot out and scurried over to the bars in front of us, holding out her good arm for Sebastian.
"Shut up about that already! I'm already married and happy with my wife and my son. My wife whom you attacked last night...or tried to attack because you got yourself a beat down instead."
"I love you Sebastian," she said with tears.
"See? I told you that she's sick," I said to Sebastian.
"I see now," he responded and filled out a paper he was carrying. He was ordering for Naomi to be evaluated and sent to a mental institution with maximum security instead of prison.
Her eyes locked onto me and I locked mine with hers too.
"I hate you," she spat.
I remained silent. I wasn't about to get into it with a love-sick woman. A woman who allowed royalty to go to her brain and damage her. She couldn't let go of her love for him. She driven so much that she was willing to hurt and even kill people who stood in the way but in the end, she was the one left hurt and unloved.
She had a chance to move on with her life and find true love. Someone who would love her for her but all she wanted was Sebastian.
"Let's go," Sebastian told me and I took his hand in mine and walked away.
"Sebastian! Sebastian! Sebastiannnnnn! Please, don't leave me! Sebastian!" we heard Naomi's voice calling after him.
On the outside, I didn't care about Naomi and deep down in my heart, all the way down, I still didn't care.
She crossed one line she shouldn't have.
______
"I think his first words are going to be Dada," Sebastian chuckled when he took Christian out his play pen and hoist him into the air in a playful manner.
"I swear, it was the most unbearable pain ever to push him out, and him saying Dada before mama is just a slap to my face," I protested as I applied my makeup.
"Go on Christian, say Dada. Dada. Dada," Sebastian coached.
"Nooo. Say mama. mama. mama," I input.
It was eight months later and life couldn't get any better than this. I loved being a queen but most of all, I loved being a mother.
I was through with my makeup and clothes and we were ready to go to the park for the kids fun day. Every time, around this year, the castle hosted a children fun day for all the kids in the kingdom and I was happy to be apart of it.
It was almost summer. The sun was already in its glory and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Sebastian pushed Christian in his stroller through the park as the kids gathered around.
I assisted with the spinning of the cotton candies and goody-bags for the children. Music played from a truck of speakers and children ran and danced all around.
"Emily, Emily! You have to hear this!" Sebastian said as he ran towards me with Christian in his arms.
"Hear what?" I asked as I gave a little girl a chocolate bar.
"Mama. Dada. Mama. Dada," Christian let out and I burst into laughter.
He said both 'mama' and 'dada'.
Sebastian and I couldn't be any happier. I loved my little boy and I had the world's sweetest husband.
