Then the Tournament of Power continued. This time, some contestants could clearly be categorized as the strongest. And the beasts and nymphs of the Cerulean Planet could see it through their own perception.“Look at that, the Sea Sovereign Beast is clearly the strongest. His body size is large enough and his comprehension of the manipulation of the seawater has reached a peak we have never seen before.” An anemone nymph said to the fish.
“Of course, he is the one who rules over the entire sea of the Cerulean Planet.” The fish replied.
Several lifeforms also watched the tournament of power. They found that the event was so fascinating that they could not turn their attention away from it.
The Sea Sovereign Beast was undoubtedly the strongest in the sea, and every sea lifeform admitted that so readily. On the other hand, the land beasts were not satisfied with that. To them, the best land beast was actually that scary-looking mutated Tyrannosaurus Rex Sovereign Beast.
At this time, the mentioned beast was scraping and healing its wounds by using transcendent energy to speed up the recovery. Its outer flesh and muscles recovered quickly, but the injury to its jaw was a bit slower, only recovering about eighty percent. But that was enough for him to be a terrifying fighter.
As the tournament went on, everyone realized that two of the most formidable beasts were present. Although the nymph was powerful but they were a bit left behind at this moment.
But to Dian and the others who could see the entire thing clearly, they realized that one nymph species was actually in the development stage and would be mature in another hundred years.

That was why the nymph was often defeated quickly.
As for the two strongest beasts, that was naturally the Sea Sovereign Beast and the Tyrannosaurus Rex Sovereign Beast.
“As for the strongest beast…” Dian murmured while looking at the two beasts with an amusing smile.
“That depends on their own.” Leif commented while knowing that the two had similar strength and mind, so deciding victory and defeat would be hard.
But one thing was for sure: Dian and the others knew the finale would be between the two beasts.
The struggle of the mutated Tyrannosaurus Rex Sovereign Beast was real as he finally met the Adamant Thearch Nymph in the semifinal.
Their struggle was so bloody and gory since their body were lacerated by the damage done to them by their opponent.
But ultimately, the Adamant Thearch Nymph had lost more than seventy percent of his core energy and could not regenerate any longer. Fortunately, he had said the word of forfeit; otherwise he would be beyond saving.
The beast let out a triumphant roar to the sky. He felt that under the starry sky in this tournament space, he was the strongest and the toughest one.
The other side was between the Sea Sovereign Beast and the famed Thousand-faced Spider Sovereign Beast.
After the curtain of seawater and the spiderweb were erected, the winner was actually the Sea Sovereign Beast due to his massive size and armored body. The Thousand-faced Spider Sovereign Beast was helpless since it could not even penetrate the strong armor reinforced by transcendent energy.
Even though the Thousand-faced Spider Sovereign Beast also had transcendent energy, its specialization was actually on poison, crowd control, as well as attrition, which was all countered by the Sea Sovereign Beast.
The Thousand-faced Spider Sovereign Beast was also uttering the word of forfeit, saving her life while also knowing the mightiness of the Sea Sovereign Beast.
“The last match is between beasts.” One land creature said while looking at the match.
Now, beast and nymph alike knew that the final was going to be between the Sea and Land beast battle. They also realized that despite the rough journey, the two contestants were in a similar condition.
“For fairness and a more exciting match in the final, I will personally let the two contestants recover to their peak.” The Cerulean Planet Spirit said, appearing above the arena before letting out a yellowish ball of light and raining it down on the two contestants.
Then the Sea Sovereign Beast and the Tyrannosaurus Rex Sovereign Beast found that they were recovering faster, both their physical form and their transcendent energy.
Both of them then gestured to the Cerulean Planet Spirit in gratitude and understanding that this would decide the title of the strongest in the wilderness.
The eyes of both contestants were fiery, filled with fighting spirit as they readied their bodies for the fight that would come.
Then the arena was cleaned up and became like new again. The arena became whole and the two beasts were placed on the far side of the arena to be easily identified as well as to divide the arena easily by the barrier.
Both beasts roared at each other, trying to show off their might against each other. Because from now on, it would be deciding which beast was superior, land or sea.
The countdown began, and the comments from the beasts and nymphs alike came but only Dian and the others knew about them.
Both beasts looked at the countdown and knew that this was the final moment where glory or shame would be decided.
“Since you have recovered fully, then I wish both participants a fair match.” The Cerulean Planet Spirit said before she disappeared from the air of the arena.
All the beasts and nymphs could also see the countdown, and their perception became a bit slower, as if the countdown was doing some sort of time dilation effect that slowed down their time.
Then, when the countdown reached four, the Kleos and the Tyrannosaurus looked each other in the eye, noticing the fighting spirit in each other’s eyes.
Then, when the countdown reached zero, both beasts moved. The size was actually on the Kleos’ side, while versatility belonged to the Tyrannosaurus since his forelimbs were developed and he looked more like a pseudo-dragon.
The Kleos was surrounded by seawater while moving in it. The seawater followed his every move as he swam to meet the Tyrannosaurus.
Both of them were ready for a long battle. Both of them used transcendent energy to boost their physical prowess and their mastery over the transcendent energy.
Then a loud bang was heard as the Tyrannosaurus created an Ether barrier that withstood the seawater filled with Ether.
Then the two beasts went brutal to each other. They bit each other off with their strong jaw and sharp teeth.
But the Tyrannosaurus also clawed the Kleos’ armor and shredded it slightly, slowly digging into the flesh of the giant beast.
They closed in on each other while using their teeth, and then the Kleos swept with its tail toward the Tyrannosaurus.
The Tyrannosaurus then thrashed and moved slightly, barely avoiding the tail while he hastened the digging for the Kleos’ flesh.
Both of them bit and bit; flesh and blood were munched, and injuries appeared. But both contestants did not care about it in the slightest as they kept biting. But the Tyrannosaurus realized that the size of his jaw was smaller than the Kleos and would ultimately be defeated, so he quickly did something; he then charged straight into the Kleos’ opening mouth and then held the jaw of the Kleos with his forelimbs while biting off the head of the Kleos’ mouth.
The Kleos was enraged at such a daring move. As a result, he then let out a bellow, which caused something to come up from his belly. It was his digestive liquid, which could digest even some of the stronger sea beasts.
The tyrannosaurus then got off the mouth and snapped it shut while the digestive liquid literally melted the mouth of the Kleos.
‘You are weak in close combat, it seems.’ The Tyrannosaurus thought.
Then unexpectedly, the Kleos thrashed about in an erratic move which the Tyrannosaurus caught but was unable to dodge everything, as one sweep from the Kleos’ tail managed to hit him right in the belly.
The Tyrannosaurus was then sent flying for ten meters before he could stabilize himself with his forelimbs and hindlimbs. He coughed up blood and realized that the hit was significant but he had a triumphant expression.
Then when the Kleos went into a momentary state between exhausting his current move before doing the next one, the Tyrannosaurus rammed into him, causing the giant sea beast to be repelled back.
But then the Kleos spit out the digestive liquid from his mouth and hit the Tyrannosaurus, which could not dodge because he was also in the state of shifting to the next move, and both could injure each other severely.
Since the injuries were caused by the acidic liquid, both of them revealed their savage nature.
Those who watched the final realized that they were lacking the cunning and the brutality of the two. Just looking at the two contestants fighting in the ring caused them to shiver in fright.
The seawater slowly helped with dissolving the acid, although only slightly.
Both of them roared at each other before continuing biting and scratching; whatever their limbs or parts of the body could do, they did it without hesitation. They went so far as to go into a deadlock for the title of the strongest in the wilderness.
They trashed around, causing cracks to appear on the arena’s floor and even to the point where space quaked.
Then, with a strong bite, they separated from each other with part of their opponent’s flesh on their jaws and limbs.
Both roared at each other; they would not surrender until the very end, and now they could see the end was apparent.
With a final push, they charged at each other. The Tyrannosaurus was wet due to being submerged in seawater but it did not dampen his will to defeat the Kleos which was larger than his own size.
Then they rammed their heads against each other with all their might. Neither contestant backed up and kept pushing hard with their remaining transcendent energy.
The hind legs of the Tyrannosaurus were slightly pushed back but then it landed on firm ground and stood still. The Kleos was surprised to see that the opponent was able to stand still despite its smaller stature.
*Roar*
The Tyrannosaurus opened his mouth and let out a roar that shook the air. The Kleos also let out a roar and pushed back with his full power, no the power he had right now surpassed all he had ever done.
‘With this newfound power, I should be able to win.’ The Kleos thought.
Then he easily pushed the Tyrannosaurus to the edge of the arena, and the damage dealt to the Tyrannosaurus increased, causing it to open its wound and bleed from all over its body.
The Tyrannosaurus then realized many things as he was on the brink of collapse. His will was strong but his body was still inadequate to store it. Therefore, he made a decision that truly painful for him but at the same time it was a decision after a sound mind reminded him of his current limit.
“I surrender.” The Tyrannosaurus said.
Then a barrier separated the defeated Tyrannosaurus and the Kleos. The moment the barrier appeared, the Tyrannosaurus could not hold on any longer and fainted. His severe injuries were held at bay by his strong willpower.
As for the Kleos, he nodded his head as a show of respect. He had the advantage of his body and seawater but in terms of willpower, he was lacking. His power rose due to the untapped potential left in his body and now he could use it at will.
“You are a good opponent in a long while.” The Kleos, as a Sea Sovereign Beast, said this which everyone heard through their perception.
“That was satisfying.” One land beast said.
“Sea Sovereign Beast! The number one in the wilderness.” A fish said.
“The number three is actually a nymph. Will there be hope for a nymph to become the number one?” the Adamant Thearch Nymph sighed, letting out microscopic adamant ore.
“I should avoid the Tyrannosaurus Rex Sovereign Beast.” The Thousand-faced Spider Sovereign Beast concluded. It was because that Sovereign Beast had strong willpower and most likely to tear her apart before succumbing to her poison.
If her poison could not subdue the opponent before she was killed, then it was as good as useless.
“Alright, every beast and nymph who has watched the tournament of power this time should be convinced of the current ranking.” The Cerulean Planet Spirit said with a satisfied tone.
“Yes. To think that there are so many strong beings out there in the wilderness…”
“But the Sea Sovereign Beast is truly strong, to be able to overpower the Tyrannosaurus Rex Sovereign Beast so easily…he has to be mastering his true power just now.”
“But the Tyrannosaurus Rex Sovereign Beast has strong willpower; how can someone like that not be vicious?”
“I hope I don’t have to meet with him. It’s so scary.”
The comments from numerous beasts and nymphs were conveyed to Dian and the others. Dian had a satisfied look when he heard what they said.
“This is the effect I want. No more doubt about who is the strongest or the powerhouse from both the beasts and the nymphs.” Dian said while nodding happily.
“With this, they will not battle the strong ones. But among the weaker ones, there will be conflict to become a powerhouse.” Leif analyzed the situation and found out that there would be more competition among the weaker beasts and nymphs.
“Small competition is necessary in any place. It is to encourage any lifeform to strive to be better.” Dian said heavily. He knew that he could only do this much to contain the battle of supremacy and hegemony among the beasts and nymphs.
“Yes, that is true.” Leif could only agree to that statement. But he felt that Dian was a bit melancholic in his tone, as well as the heaviness in it. Leif felt that this was already a good result, but it looked like Dian wanted more but could not do anything anymore.
“For the last 108 participants, there will be reward from the Father God himself. Since this Tournament of Power is established to accommodate the will of the beasts and nymphs in the wilderness, we will give the reward right now.” The Cerulean Planet Spirit said with a majestic tone.
She then turned her body to look at the place where Dian and the others were staying.
The Sea Sovereign Beast was the only one who remained in the arena. He looked up and saw the Cerulean Planet Spirit was respectfully looking at a certain direction.
“O Father God, I am humbled to be able to receive something like a reward from you.” The Kleos expressed his emotion at this moment.
Dian then manifested not as a cloud but as his usual appearance.
"For your reward, since you placed at the top then this strand of pure energy will be your reward.” Dian then grasped the air and a large strand of energy, as large as a rebar for a construction building, appeared.
Then he personally bestowed it to the Sea Sovereign Beast.
The Sea Sovereign Beast felt something in his body. The body that had taken the potential of his to the limit now broke through. He had become the only beast who had reached Planetary Realm transcendent.
He roared happily, swimming and doing a maneuver to express his gratitude toward the Father God and every other deity for granting him such an opportunity.
“For the second place, A ball of pure energy.” Dian produced a ball of energy as big as a basketball and pushed it through the white portal toward the Tyrannosaurus Rex Sovereign Beast, who was unconscious.
Then the scene repeated but the size of the pure energy kept decreasing according to the rank of the participating beasts and nymphs.
Those 108 participants felt so fortunate to receive something that could help them in advancing their transcendent power base.
“Thank you, Father God.”
“Thank you, Father God.”
“Thank you, Father God.”
A series of thanks echoed out throughout the entire Cerulean Planet. Some humans detected the anomaly in the wilderness but soon calmed by the incoming information that the wilderness had just undergone a bloody shift in its standing.
Then Dian said, “Since you have received the reward, you should go back. Go to the white portal and return to the sea where you belong.”
The Sea Sovereign Beast nodded heavily; he would remember this event as long as he lived. He then moved to the white portal and then disappeared into the vast ocean where he ruled.
“Now, we need to close this space. It is useful but it needs to be maintained regularly.” Dian said while shrinking the size of the tournament space and grasping it in his hand.
Its size was now as big as a basketball, and he could manipulate its inside.
“Let’s go back. The rest should be waiting for us in the Planet Master Space.” Dian said before he sent Leif and the others back to the Planet Master Space.
Dian blinked and he found himself standing in front of his throne. A satisfied smile could be seen on his face before he returned to sit down on the throne.
