Chapter 55

"Don't ask me questions I can't answer," Greyson muttered and stood up. "Janson, I'm sorry, but we must go."

"Of course!" Janson nodded and looked at his two pack members. "David, Ben, help them with their belongings."

"Kal, Ace, Oscar, get your shit," Greyson ordered. "We're leaving as soon as possible."

Kal and Oscar bolted from their seats and rushed out of the room, but Ace stayed behind. "Grey, do you want me to run ahead in wolf form?" He wondered.

"Yes," Greyson nodded. "Get there as soon as possible and calm the pack. Search parties have been deployed and everyone is on high alert."

"Greyson," Indianna said cautiously. She was scared of the answer to her next question. "Who kidnapped her?"

Greyson's eyes went dark. "Who seems to be the pain cause of all our problems, sugar?" Greyson said and looked to Ace. "Leave now."

Ace nodded and glanced at Janson. "Thank you for having us," he said respectfully.

"Anytime, now go. Your pack needs you," Janson said and Ace was out of the room in seconds.

"Sugar, you stay down here, I'll go get our stuff," Greyson said and walked out of the room. Indianna slumped back in her seat and chewed nervously on her nails.

Rogue.

It always came back to Rogue.

Olivia looked at Indianna and she suddenly felt guilty. She was moaning so much about her life with Janson when it wasn't a bad life at all. The only problem she had ever had she made herself. Indianna, however, had all sorts going on in her life and the only stable thing she had was Greyson. Olivia felt ridiculous for ever thinking that her life with Janson was horrible and the end of the world.

"Indie," Olivia said softly and made her way over to Indianna. "Thank you for everything."

"It's not a problem," Indianna said and she tried to sound sincere, but her mind was all over the place.

A pack member had been kidnapped by Rogue.

Her pack member.

She suddenly felt very protective over Martha and hated that she couldn't do anything to help her.

"I'll come visit you soon," Olivia said.

"Wait until the murdering, rapist, kidnapping werewolf is gone," Indianna said. "No one else can be harmed by him. I won't let them."

"Sugar!" Greyson called and stopped at the kitchen door with a bag slung over his shoulder. "Let's go."

Indianna nodded and she forced a smile at Janson and Olivia before walking over to Greyson and being hurried out of the pack house and into the car.

Greyson slammed the door behind him and rammed the keys in the ignition. He sighed angrily and slammed his hand on the steering wheel.

"I'm going to kill him!" He yelled and swore. "I'm going to fucking rip him to shreds!"

Indianna forgot about her anger towards Greyson and gripped his hand tightly. Right now the pack came first, not their relationship. "Greyson, just focus on getting back," she said trying to keep her voice steady. "There's no point stressing right now, we can't do anything until we are back home."

Greyson gently pulled Indianna towards him and tangled his fingers in her hair. He smashed his lips to hers and she didn't fight it, kissing him back eagerly. "Maybe we can," Greyson said against Indianna's lips and pulled away. He had an evil glint in his eye and he took his phone out of his pocket. He dialed a number and held the phone to his ear. "Harry," he said and gently cupped Indianna's cheek. He ran his thumb over her lip and a dark expression covered his face. "Harry, I need you to kidnap Stacy."

Greyson was a naturally fast driver, but he broke all the speed limits when driving home. The car pulled up to the pack house and he slammed the breaks on so they stopped suddenly. Indianna struggled to keep up with him as he bolted out of the car and rushed into the pack house. The majority of the pack was squashed into the lounge and they all sighed in relief when Greyson walked in.

"What's happening?" Greyson demanded, in full Alpha mode. "Do we know where Martha is?"

"We've got people searching," Ace spoke up. He had arrived earlier and had acted in charge until Greyson arrived. "Her scent just disappears. Along with Rogue's."

"Shit," Greyson cursed. "Where's Harry?"

"He's... In the dungeons."

"Stacy," Indianna whispered. "He has her."

Ace nodded.

"Has she been harmed?"

"Her mate is a monster, the only reason she is alive is because we need her!" Greyson growled.

"She had done nothing wrong," Indianna said. "It's not her fault that Rogue is her mate! I suggested we use her to get to Rogue, but we aren't harming her!"

Greyson gritted his teeth.

"Greyson," Indianna said and grabbed his arm. "Don't stoop to his level."

"If anyone hears anything let me know straight away!" Greyson demanded and grabbed Indianna's hand. He walked out of the room and pulled Indianna behind him.

"Are we going to see her?" Indianna wondered.

"We are," Greyson said stiffly.

"You can't hurt her," Indianna whispered.

"Her safety depends on Rogue's actions," Greyson growled and led Indianna downstairs into the basement that had been refurbished into a gym. Tucked away at the back was a door that led to another set of stairs going down.

It got darker as they walked down and the air turned colder. Indianna gripped Greyson's hand tightly as fear filled her. Cages started to appear, along with dark, filthy cells with wrought iron bars in front of them. Their footsteps echoed along the damp floor as they walked down the long aisle lined with cells and cages. It was eerily silent and Indianna nearly cried in fright when a rat scuttled past.

"Nothing is going to hurt you, sugar," Greyson said and looked down at Indianna with dark, anger filled eyes.

"It's not me I'm worried about," she admitted.

Greyson tensed, but didn't say anything.

Finally they reached the end of the aisle and saw Harry and Brooke standing outside of a heavy wooden door with a small caged window.

"For a prisoner, she's acting like a confident bitch," Harry said when Greyson and Indianna stopped in front of them.

"So she's talking?" Greyson said and nodded. "Good." Greyson opened the door and span round to look at Indianna as he unlinked their fingers. "Stay here."

"No, I'm coming in," Indianna said and stepped forward, but Greyson gently held her back.

"Not just yet. I need to talk to her alone," he said.

"No, Greyson. I am coming in with you," Indianna said firmly and Greyson gritted his teeth, but turned on his heel and walked into the room. Indianna followed after him and gasped when she saw Stacy tied to a chair, gagged and blindfolded.

"Let me do the talking," Greyson said sternly and Indianna took his hand, sensing his anger rising. "Stacy," Greyson said slowly and walked up to her. He roughly ripped the blindfold off and pulled the gag down. She looked up at him, her expression scarily calm.
