"Roushin, I told you not to wreck that guitar. How many times have we bought you your daddy, how many times have you broken it too?" Astreille said due to frustration.
Roushin, her middle son, became silent. "Sorry, mom, I got too excited."
The woman smiled before kissing the child on the forehead. "It's okay, baby. Don't be too aggressive while playing a guitar because you can break that. Okay? We have enough money to buy a lot of that instrument but we shouldn't waste money just to fill what you want "Okay?"
Her son smiled. "Sorry, mom. I love you!"
"Mom! I wrecked the drums!"
Astreille was next to her senses when her youngest shouted from behind. She gazed at her youngest's direction, only to witness the scene being a mess.
"Aisac! What did you do with your drums?" he shouted in confusion.
He approached the youngest son and lifted him away from the falling part of the drums.
"Baby. What happened? Are you okay?" he asked a worried question here.
"I like drums so much, mom. I'm sorry if I ruin it," his youngest said sincerely.
"I told you multiple times to stop spoiling them, mom. Look what happened," Archer, her eldest son, who just arrived said.
His eldest dropped the bag on the sofa before lifting Roushin.
"You little brats, what did you do to our mom again?"
Astreille stood up from her seat. He approached the eldest before kissing him on the cheek. "How's school today, Archer?"
"Good. I went home right away because I knew dad would come home later. Did these brats stress you out again?"
"It's fine. I'm glad you're here. The one I was cooking earlier almost burned, it's a good thing I caught up," Astreille answered.
Archer grinned. "You want me to babysit them for a while? War's with me. He just parked the car for a while."
"Sally's eldest son? Why? Do you have a project?"
"Nah, aunt Saellyn's planning to come here too. War decided to come with me so we can babysit these two little brats."
Her son turned to the door when it opened, the eldest son of Sally and Dagger, War, appeared before them.
"Hey, War. How are you, sweetheart?" Astreille asked softly to the nephew.
War smiled a little before hugging her. "Hi, aunt. I'm doing okay."
"Where's your mom? I heard your mommy is pregnant again, I hope she's a girl," Astreille uttered.
War chuckled. "I would love to have a little sister. But I can feel that it's another troublemaker also, tita Astreille."
They looked away at the same time when the door opened. Astreille frowned before running towards her husband.
"Why are you alone now?" he asked here.
Xord chuckled as he embraced his wife. "I'm sorry. Something happened in the company, just have to handle it. Why? Did the boys cause trouble again?"
He kissed her on the lips making her smile.
"Nope, I'm fine. I just miss you."
"You're extra clingy today, what do you want from me? Another baby?" the man asked him mischievously.
The woman immediately shook her head. "No. I'm exhausted with these three, I might die early when another one is added."
He laughed with that. "Don't you want a baby girl?"
"Eh, you said that so I agreed to have a baby again. But the boy came out again. I might lose my breath from stress," she complained.
"Okay, I won't force you. Let's just cuddle right now--"
"What are you?" The woman beat her husband lightly. "There's War, later what else will the kid think. You're really crazy."
Xord immediately looked in the direction of his eldest son with his friend. "That's why I saw Sally's car all the way here."
"Can I have a bond with her? Please? Just cuddle with the boys, tender them first. Tonight, I'll be alone," she teased him.
Xord raised his eyebrows multiple times. "Let's fast forward to night time."
The woman laughed. "You're really crazy. All right, get dressed up! I think Sally's here already."
He kissed her lips again. "Okay, enjoy your time with Saellyn. I'll let Archer and War take care of the kids. I'll just finish the powerpoint I'm editing."
When the husband disappeared from sight Astreille immediately opened up to Saellyn. She immediately approached her friend with a smile.
"Hey! I miss you!" Saellyn greeted her.
Giggling, Astreille returned the hug to the newly arrived visitor. "I miss you too! Are you really pregnant? How many weeks have you been?"
Saellyn held her tummy. "It's been three weeks. Because of the strength of my husband's venom, the flirtation of that beating has borne fruit again," he said, annoyed.
Astreille let out a laugh. "Xord is also forcing me to have a baby again but I don't think I can add those three."
Saellyn giggled before hugging her arm. "Roushin and Aisac grew up over time. Can't wait for them to grow up just like how Archer grew up. You won't be stressed for sure when they think about it."
"That's how ugly Archer was when he was only five years old. But now that he's already 16, his mind is very mature. When I confront them, my husband and I are like two, "she answered.
Saellyn chuckled. "All of our previous nephews, the man now. It seems like they used to be so stubborn, now we're the ones being scolded. Time really flies so fast."
She nodded her head.
"And our family became stronger than ever. I'm glad that the Knights found an amazing woman to accompany them," she whispered.
Astreille climbed into bed with a smile to approach her husband, who was reading a book. Xord immediately hugged her waist when he saw her.
"Are you sleepy already?"
"Hmm. A little bit, but I'm fine. We could cuddle for a minute. What are you reading by the way?"
His wife faced the book he was reading. "Just a random fantasy book."
Astreille smiled sweetly as she hugged his waist. He lay down on his wife's sturdy chest and let her read.
"I love you," she whispered to distract him.
Xord chuckled on the other hand. "I love you too. You're really extra sweet. Do you want me to read this book for you?" its tender question.
She shook her head. "I'm just happy. Roushin and Aisac are slowly growing up. I'll probably miss their awkwardness."
"Yeah, me too. They'll surely adopt Archer's attitude."
"Maybe your attitude."
"Well, I'm their dad, who else will they inherit?" laughable at this answer.
"Thank you for letting me experience this kind of life, Xord. I love you so much, including the kids." He kissed his wife's lips who responded quickly.
"I love you too. I just deceived you, that's why you fell in love with me. Remember? That's my forte."
She chuckled loudly. "Yeah. You are, indeed, the master of deception. And I will keep driving you."
Xord smiled sweetly before hugging her tight. "And I'll tease you over and over again so you don't take your eyes off me."
She hit him hard. "Even if you don't feed me, I really won't take my eyes off you!"
Shaking, the man stepped on her.
"Ready for another baby?"
Astreille smirked. "No."
The wife grinned mischievously. "You know that I don't take no for an answer."
