Miracle silently watched the people in the living room busy arranging decorations throughout the mansion.

This is the event that Trigger was talking about before.

Miracle doesn't know if she should be scared because she will see her parents again, or she will be happy because she will be with her husband's parents again.

She quickly turned her gaze to her husband who just arrived. It immediately went straight to the staff below and did not even bother to rest.

A few minutes later Miracle immediately walked closer to the stairs when she saw her husband coming up.

He met it even though it looked bad on him.

"W-What event is being held, Trigger?" she asked while stuttering.

The man just hit her on the shoulder and walked straight into their room. The woman quietly followed the man. He found it changing clothes.

"Aren't you going to rest first, Trigger? The event will be later, maybe later if you manage to be so tired," he said worriedly.

The man ignored the change before approaching the corner of the room. It examined the woman's own portrait painted.

"This one looks like trash staying inside my room," he said coldly. He turned to her first before slowly pulling the scissors to the side.

Miracle sighed loudly when she saw how her husband destroyed the own portrait he had worked so hard to make.

"Trigger, b-why did you break?" he asked a bewildered question before approaching the work which he now could hardly recognize.

He just let out a sarcastic laugh. It didn't seem to feel any conscience at all in what it did. "It's a useless art along with the useless artist after all."

It passed him directly and slammed the door shut.

Miracle just wiped the tears on her cheeks before smiling bitterly. His eyes remained on the painting his wife had broken. She put a lot of effort into this one. This is also the first work he has praised by his wife.

He could do nothing but move the object into the room where his other paintings were kept.

She carefully placed her husband's ruined portrait on the side. "I'll just make another one," he whispered.

He sat carefully in the chair in the middle of the room. Opposite it was work he had not yet finished.

Miracle carefully grabs the brush on the table. He closed his eyes again so that the image of the stuffed toy he wanted to paint could be clear to him again.

"Racle! Stay there on the playground, huh? Wait for me to come back!"

The 5-year-old Miracle nodded her head as she swayed the swing by her own. The boy just watched the maid run in the other direction.

She quietly sat and played alone. Even if she's attracted to other kids' noise, she doesn't want to approach them. She is embarrassed to associate with other children because her mom tells her it is not right for her to have friends.

"Racle!"

Miracle quickly turned her gaze to the 7-year-old Trigger who shouted her name. The girl giggled happily before bamboo the lone friend approached and played with her.

Trigger happily sat on the swing beside her. "How long have you been here?" fun this question.

She smiled sweetly. "I guess my nanny and I will be here for a while. Maybe daddy and mommy will go home later. You know they don't want to see me come out of the house, don't you?"

He nodded his head.

"Let's play together before you get home. I didn't see you here yesterday, I'm afraid I might not see you again tomorrow," the boy said sadly.

Smiling Miracle stood up from the swing and immediately held the friend's hand.

"There we are in the big chair!"

As soon as they sat together on the big bench, Trigger grabbed a little stuffed toy behind him. The boy immediately handed it to her.

"What's this, Trigger?"

"It's a stuffed toy, I bought it for you when dad and I were in the mall. It's a little bunny but I hope you'll like it."

She giggled as she hugged the stuffed toy. "Thank you so much, Trigger! What a wonderful gift you gave me."

He smiled at her words. "I'll keep buying you some gifts if it will make you happy, Racle."

Trigger looked down at his bruised arms again. Concern and anger immediately passed through its eyes.

"What happened? Did your parents hurt you again?" angry at this question.

Miracle immediately hugged herself to cover her arms. "N-No, Trigger. I'm fine. It's my fault because I broke the plate."

"How many times have you put up with them, Racle? They kept on hurting you but you're trying to cover them up!" he said.

She smiled bitterly. "I have no choice, Trigger."

The boy immediately grabbed her hands. "I'll protect you at all cost against your parents, Racle I. I'll protect you when we grow up, for now, you need to fight for yourself because I have no power to do that. When I grow up, I'll build an empire and I will marry you, I will protect you from your parents, "he promised.

The little Miracle teared up with what he said. "Of course I will marry you too, Trigger Knights."

The boy frowned. "You always say my full name when I have no idea what's yours. Come on, tell me your full name."

The girl giggled. "My name's Racle."

"It's not your full name."

"Racle is my nickname. Short for--"

"Racle! You're so young, I said you're just there in your place!" They were both interrupted when Miracle's maid arrived.

He pulled the girl's arm back so the young Trigger immediately pushed the older woman. "Don't hurt my Racle!"

The maid looked at the boy in disbelief. He just ignored it before lifting the pet.

"Come on, let's go home. I think your daddy and mommy have a problem."

Miracle gazed at Trigger's direction before waving her hands. "Bye! I'll be back tomorrow!" she promised.

Smiling, the boy waved back at him. Holding on to her promise that she'll come back.

But she never did. That night, Miracle and her parents went to America for business matters.

She never had a chance to talk to Trigger again. She left, without even saying her full name.

Miracle flashed a bitter smile while painting the small stuff toy that Trigger gave her back then. He no longer has that stuffed toy because he left it in their old house. But he could never forget how it looked.

That little toy saved her from depression.

She kept Trigger's words until she grew up. The man promised that it would protect him when they were older. And until now, Miracle's holding on to that promise.

She just wanted to give Trigger a lot of time to remember her. She needs more time. If in exchange for his wife's coldness was the return of the formerly contented and brave Trigger, he would choose to gamble and gamble until he met her.
