"I'm so excited to meet your triplets. I'm sure Alistair is as handsome as those." Shanelle giggled while caressing her womb.
A smile quickly appeared on Miracle's lips when she heard that.
"I don't even know what kind of ire I'm going to do with these three. I might just die in labor," she joked around.
"Oh gosh. Why? Did you have a hard time giving birth to Alistair before?" my friend asked.
She shook her head. "No. She only came out once. Now, it's three. I might hit the Trigger while I'm giving birth."
Shanelle chuckled with her answer. "I'm going to tell your wife right now not to go to the delivery room. Her life is in danger."
Miracle giggled loudly. "I'm just kidding you. I don't want to blame him for the pain I'm feeling. After all, enduring the pain of labor and delivery is worth it when you finally see them. When I gave birth to Alistair, it was painful to give birth but the pain disappeared. that I felt when I saw her. It's fulfilling to be a mother, Shanelle. "
The friend nodded. "That's why I'm sad for those females who can't have one."
He shook his head. "I guess we don't have to feel bad for them. A woman is not required to have children if it's against her will. And a woman who can't bear a child should not be pitied and feel guilty. It doesn't make someone less a woman if she can't have a child, Shanelle. Maybe, yes, for us we feel complete when we say we have a child. But I'm sure the other women who decided not to be happy and complete are also happy and complete. I have a family. "
Her friend pouted her lips before nodding her head.
"Anyway, you're right. It's really up to women to decide what they want to do," she agreed.
"Mommy!"
They both turned to the door when Alistair entered, followed by his wife.
Miracle quickly kissed her son's cheeks. "Hello, baby. Where have you guys been?"
He looked up at the wife who kissed him on the lips. Trigger knelt down in front of her stomach and kissed it softly. She giggled when Alistair kissed her tummy also.
"Alistair wanted to play basketball for a while. Our son always wants to explore things and do everything he can as soon as possible. He just knows how to do everything," the man said mischievously and even messed up his eldest son's hair.
Alistair just flashed a smile as he went to Shanelle to greet. "Hi, Aunt Shanelle."
"Hello, my child. You're so sweaty, ah. Come, wipe you first." Miracle mouthed 'thank you' to her friend when she carried Alistair towards the kitchen.
He turned to his wife who was gently caressing his stomach.
"Are you tired? Alistair is naughty sometimes. Can you rest first?" she worriedly said.
Trigger shook his head. "I promised to buy you your favorite food, right? I'm leaving later too. I just want to greet my little babies."
He even kissed her belly which caused a smile to slip on her lips.
Her hand went to his hair as she combed it using her fingers. "Thank you, Trigger. To make my pregnancy easier. Thank you for taking care of me and Alistair. I owe you everything, baby."
Her husband leaned forward to kiss her lips. "Our pregnancy."
"Yes," he laughs in response.
"I'll take you to our room for a while, okay? You need to rest. You haven't slept well before. I'll just change Alistair's clothes and I'll take him with me. Our eldest is not reprimanded so you don't have to worry about him, "he said softly while pushing his wheelchair.
Yeah, unfortunately. She's having a hard time standing up for a long time and walking because of her pregnancy. Her stomach is so big and her pregnancy is also sensitive so she needs to be careful. He can stand and walk sometimes to exercise his body, but he gets tired and faint very quickly.
"I want the cake I showed you yesterday, huh? You promised, baby," he whispered to his wife.
Trigger chuckled. "I'll buy you anything you want, my baby girl. But for now, take a rest."
He clung tightly to his wife's neck as he lifted her up.
She rested her head on his chest. "I want pancakes too, Trigger. The one in Sally's shop. I want a lot of chocolate syrup then," he whispered.
She felt his back against the soft bed in conjunction with the man's soft lips on hers.
"Hmm? What else?"
"Ahm." He stared at the emptiness as if thinking. "Why is it that even though I'm about to give birth, I'm still pregnant?"
"You're just really greedy," she laughed in response.
She pouted her lips. "Am I fat, baby? Am I no longer attractive?"
"You didn't gain that much weight, my love. You're still sexy as hell. And even if you put on weight I don't know, you're still the most beautiful woman in my eyes."
Thrilled, he hugged the arm of wife. "Thank you, baby. I can feel the lightness of my pregnancy because you are a good boy. You always praise me, you always buy me the things I like and then you are always kind to me."
"I want you to always include me with what's happening to your life, my wife. I always want to make you feel better. I'm not the one experiencing the pain you feel every time your pregnancy gives you pain, so helping you when you need my help makes me content. So, you don't have to say thank you. Everything that I do, those are the bare minimum. We are both pregnant, baby. Not literally, but I love the feeling when we share the same struggles. Hmm? "
He nodded tearfully to his wife and kissed her on the lips.
She realized that she's lucky to have a husband like Trigger. A kind of man who wouldn't make you feel ugly when you're gaining weight because of pregnancy. A man who will make you feel that he's always there to help you when you're struggling.
A man who's willing to admit that being respectful to his wife is normal. A man who's faithful and shouldn't be called special for being one.
He lost consciousness when he felt the pain in his stomach. "Trigger," she whispered.
"Hmm?"
"I think you need to take me to Hospital already," he said with a grin.
"Why?" bewildered by this question. "Are you going to give birth?"
"You're excited! It's just labor! Just come on!" she said tearfully. Confused, his wife picked him up, but caution was still there.
Until they got in the car the tension on Trigger's face was still so obvious that he laughed. Even though his stomach ached he couldn't help but stare at it.
"Fuck, baby. I need to drive slowly. Is it too much pain?" worried about its question.
She tried stopping herself when she almost laughed. "No n-well, too. Just drive. I still can."
"Tangina, this is how it feels. I feel like passing out," he whispered while driving.
Miracle stared at him while suppressing her laugh. "Calm down, I can still handle the pain, Trigger."
"Yes, baby, you can. But I can't handle it. I'm fucking trembling right now, baby. Should I call Shanelle-- No, that's not necessary. Should I think about our triplets' names?" bewildered by this question.
Miracle couldn't stand herself anymore and let out a weak laugh. "I'm just going to give birth to Trigger, don't get confused there."
"Baby. I can't think of their name yet. Please, help me with that one. I can't think straight." He's really shaking right now.
"I'll think about it once I'm done giving birth to them, okay? Just drive, baby. Your noise stressed me out!"
"Sorry, baby." The man quickly fell silent and took one of his hands to calm down.
While waiting patiently for them to reach the Hospital, Miracle can't help but to stare at her husband.
This life that she has right now, it's almost perfect. And he would never trade it for anything.
She was once a Cinderella who left her memories behind with Trigger. But she came back to his arms because of the love they have. He found her again.
And she's always thankful that Trigger never got tired from pursuing her. Their love led them to where they are right now.
And whatever it takes, Miracle will do everything to protect and treasure this moment.
