Twin Obsessions

Chapter Forty-Seven

"I love you." She whispered against each one of their lips and suddenly she was being lifted off her feet. Her lips captured in a more possessive kiss while Devon swirled her around. "God, I love you so much." He told her between kisses. The emotion laying so thick in his voice had her tears threatening again as Jesse tried to absorb all the feelings that spread through her at his words.

She gave a breathless laugh as she was plucked from Devon's arms and set on her feet in front of Jax who showered her face with kisses. "I love you." He whispered over and over again as Devon pressed his chest against Jesse's back and nibbled softly at the curve of her neck.

Tears fell from the corners of Jesse's eyes as happiness spread through her entire being and she pulled them closer to her as she sobbed softly.

"Ssh, don't cry, baby. Please don't cry," Devon begged helplessly.

"I can't help it. I'm just so happy." Jesse cried with a wet laugh as she pressed her face into Jax's shoulder to hide her tears. Not catching the look the brothers shared over her head, both of their eyes were suspiciously glassy as they nodded decisively. And together they stepped away from her, making her sniff and blink away her tears in confusion as they both took one of her hands and slowly, heartstoppingly went down onto one knee in front of her.

Jesse couldn't breathe as she looked down into their identical faces that had the same wide smiles. Their eyes blazing with love for her and sparkling with happiness.

"Jesse, you are a strong, amazing, beautiful woman,"

"So full of passion and love that it makes our hearts ache whenever we look at you."

"We love you, Jesse"

"And have for a very long time."

"And we want to show you how much every day for as long as we possibly can."

"We want to make you happy and give you everything you'll ever want in life."

"We want to hold you and kiss you."

"Whisper goodnight to you when we go to sleep at night,"

"And wake up with you cuddled close to us."

"We want to have a dozen of little girls that look just like you and hold your hand during every special or heartbreaking moment."

"We want to wipe away your tears whenever they might fall."

"And cherish your smiles, your laughter for all of our lives."

"We want to fight with you,"

"And make it up to you over and over again."

"We're not complete without you."

"You make us whole."

"Make us happy."

"And we want to stay by your side for the rest of our lives."

"Jesse," they both stated at the same time as they let go of her hand to reach into their pockets to retrieve red velvet boxes. Jesse couldn't help but gasp as they opened the two boxes and took out the sparkling rings nestled inside the soft pillows. "will you marry us?"

Jesse sobbed softly as she looked at them kneeling in front of her, rings resting just at the tips of her fingers as they waited patiently for her answer. She couldn't believe that these two gorgeous men wanted her. Wanted to stay with her. Their words rang in her ears and wrapped themselves around her and her heart where they snuggled in deep. She could have sworn she felt her heart expand drastically in her chest as she fell even more in love with them and without even realizing it, she started nodding. Unable to get words past the lump of emotion stuck in her throat.

Their smiles grew even wider as they slipped the rings onto her fingers before rising to their feet to sweep her laughingly into their arms. Kissing whatever part of her they could reach and Jesse was so lost in the moment between them that she almost didn't hear the sound of clapping around them.

The three of them turned and Jesse could say that she was honestly not all that surprised to see Sasha and Lou standing in the doorway, sniffling as they wiped the tears from their faces with tissues.

"That was beautiful," Lou whispered brokenly as a fresh wave of tears started and Sasha could only nod in agreement. Both women had snuck out just as the men had gone down on their knees and they hadn't stopped crying since the moment the twins had told her how they feel.

They had all thought the night was going to be ruined by that prick Luke but instead, it turned into the perfect night.

The perfect moment.

Sasha and Lou would have been jealous if they weren't so happy.

"Hugs!" Lou cried suddenly before she and Sasha rushed over to Jesse, pulling her in a tight hug and gushing over the two rings. Jesse smiled and laughed with them, her eyes softening as she caught the twins looking at her.

She pulled away from her friends to walk over to them, sighing happily as they both wrapped their arms around her and hugged her tightly between them.

Where she belonged.

"So when's the wedding?" Lou asked, a mischievous sparkle in her eye as she grinned over at the three of them. Excitement had her bouncing on her toes and she could see that Sasha was doing the exact same thing next to her.

Jesse shrugged and smiled up at her men.

"I'm happy to do it whenever you want to."

"How about now then?" Jax asked, his smile turning into a grin as Devon caressed the side of her face with that half smile of his when Jesse frowned up at them in confusion.

"What do you mean?"

"What he means is: What do you think about getting married now?" Devon asked and looked over her shoulder at her friends who both squealed like teenagers, taking off in different directions. Sasha ran to the side, opening the small hidden door there to allow the elderly pastor standing behind it to come out so that she could grab the things she had put there in the beginning of the night. Lou ran back into the ballroom to signal Colby, Lincon and Marius to bring out all the necessary things, which they did with wide smiles of their own.

Jesse gaped at the activity happening around her. Not commenting when Sasha pulled her wrap from her shoulders and gently placed it over her hair. She pinned it in place with a small tiara or when Lou placed a bouquet of red flowers in her hands. She was too busy staring at Lincon who was bringing chairs out from the ballroom and putting them in three neat rows. Then blinking at Marius and Colby who pulled a large table out and started decorating it with a white and red lace cloth. Filling it with assorted plates with different sweets and a large white wedding cake. They were directed by an elderly woman she had never before seen before and occasionally helped by two large men who looked to be twins.

"I don't understand," Jesse whispered, turning away from Lou as she attempted to put red lipstick on Jesse's lips.

Devon stepped close to her, his heart swelling with joy as he looked down at her confused face and was amazed yet again at how beautiful she looked. Never before had he ever met anyone who made him feel the way she did.

She made a beautiful bride, he thought to himself.

"We couldn't let you get away when we finally caught you." He whispered against her lips and pulled her up to him. Letting his hand slide down her face to her breast and massaging the soft mound when she pushed it harder into his hand. He caught her bottom lip between his teeth and lightly nibbled at it while Jax nipped at her throat, her gasp brushing against his face.

"So we arranged with Mrs. Branbell, who is also Colby's mom, by the way, to use tonight, and this place to propose and marry you," Jax told her softly against her skin and she shivered as his breath caressed down her spine. "We didn't want to give you any time to rethink your decision."

"But how?"

"Very quietly," Devon told her seriously and she couldn't help but laugh at that.

"Obviously, if you managed to keep it hidden from me but ... how?"

"To tell you the truth, everything just fell into place once we decided what we wanted to do. From the venue to the pastor. The only thing we couldn't decide on was the cake, so after days of arguing we finally decided to call your friend yesterday," Devon said and gestured towards Lou who Jesse finally actually registered was there when she wasn't supposed to be, "and we asked her to help us out but on the condition that she couldn't say anything."

"And she actually listened?" Jesse asked amazed, since Lou was definitely not one to keep a secret. Especially not one as big as this.

Jax snorted.

"Not really because not even an hour later Sasha was calling us and reprimanding us for not telling her what we were up to. When she finally finished that, she started throwing demands our way. Telling us what to do, where to go for what, how everything must look and the list goes on and on." Devon told her with a shake of his head and Jesse couldn't help but laugh.

That was so typical of her friends but knowing that they had helped to put the whole night together made everything even more perfect.

"So, this is Jesse?" A woman said from behind her and Jesse turned to find the elderly woman from earlier standing there with a smile on her face as she looked at the three of them. Her light blue eyes, so much like her sons, shone brightly at seeing them so happy.

"Yes, this is Jesse. Jesse, this is our mother, Agatha." Devon said, and Jesse moved forward with a slightly nervous smile to shake her hand, only to find herself pulled into a hug instead.

"It's so wonderful to finally meet you! Devon has been telling me about you for years and then when Jax started doing the same I just couldn't wait to see you. My, you're just as beautiful as they said you were. Absolutely gorgeous. The grandbabies you three will give me ..." Agatha trailed off and Jesse colored brightly at the words.

"Mom, you promised you'd behave," Devon said pulling Jesse away from his mom and giving her a firm look that had his mother grinning up at him, just the way Jax did when he was up to no good.

"I always behave, darling," Agatha told her eldest son as she fluttered her eyelashes, squealing as one of the men Jesse had also seen earlier picked her up from behind.

"Lying again, hmm?" He asked in a deep voice that almost seemed to vibrate.

"Never! You know I'm as sweet as an apple pie." Agatha defended herself just as the second man stepped up beside them and Jesse instantly knew who they were.

"Hey Dad," Jax said, confirming what Jesse had thought.

"Dad, Father may I introduce to you our bride, Jesse. Jesse, these are our fathers, Raphael and Henry." Devon introduced and Jesse smiled prettily up at them. Instantly stealing their hearts which have always longed for a daughter.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, sirs."

"The pleasure is all ours, Jesse," Henry said, still holding on to Agatha, who looked extremely relaxed in his arms.

"Have you explained to her how this works?" Raphael asked.

"We were just about to get to that."

"Then we'll leave you to it." He told his sons and led his brother away, ignoring his wife’s whining at not having finished discussing grandbabies yet.

"Explained how what works?" Jesse asked in confusion as she looked away from the trio, a slight smile playing across her lips.

"Well, even though we would both like to marry you, it's not exactly legal."

"So, what does that mean?"

"That means that I will be your husband in name but we'll both be yours in our hearts, bodies, and souls." Devon told Jesse softly and ended each word with a kiss on the lips which Jax matched by cupping her hips from behind and nuzzling her neck with a contented sigh.

Jesse closed her eyes and savored the sweet yet intimate moment between them.

"Do you guys want to do this now?" Sasha asked and Jesse quickly glanced at her friend who was now holding a small bouquet of white and red flowers close to her chest before looking back up at her men who smiled ever so tenderly down at her.

Drowning her in their love.

"What do you say, Jesse?" Devon asked softly, seriously.

"Are you willing to live a life of sin with us?" Jax finished with a cheeky grin and Jesse couldn't help the smile that bloomed across her face.

She looked right into their eyes as she said, "I do.”
