Darren didn't even text me or call me for a day. I was anxious for the whole day and Hanni was worried for me. I swear I almost cry in class because I kept thinking of Darren but didn't even to text him.
As soon as the class finished, I got out and locked myself in the toilet.
I cried.
It's been a day but it felt like days for me. Hanni kept trying to talk to me but I was not in the to respond. I was just crying and crying.
"I'll be outside, I'll wait for you at the cafeteria." I'm so thankful that she decided to give me some . I kept crying and crying until I have no tears left to cry.
I walked out from the toilet and walked to the cafeteria to see Hanni busy calling someone. She going crazy and when she saw me, she immediately ended it.
She hugged me and then I told her that I want to be left alone. I told her to go home instead of for me. She nodded and left leaving me in the cafeteria alone.
I turned off my phone and decided to go for a walk around the university. I stopped at the garden sat on the bench looking up to the sky. It's not fair that the sky is so bright when my heart is gloomy as the skies on rainy days.
"God damn it, Juliet!" I jumped when I heard Darren's voice. I turned my head to where the was and saw him panting.
"What are you doing here?!" I asked.
"To check on you." He said and I glared at him. He just stood there looking at me confuse and made me sad. I cried again and Darren went panic.
He immediately pulled me into a hug and I kept crying.
"Why are you crying?!" He asked as he caressed my head.
"You hate me."
"I don't."
"No! You do! You were angry at me and didn't even talk to me!" I was whining like a kid.
"I don't, Juliet. I can't hate you, I'm sorry." He said and he patted my back.
"So you want to break up with me? Is that why you're ignoring me?" I asked.
"No.. Trevor suggested that I give you space so.. I thought you need it."
"No!" I smacked his back and pulled away. He wiped my tears and chuckled.
"Don't laugh!"
"What? I can't help it!" He said and I cried again.
"You're such a baby.."
"I am."
"I'm not breaking up with you and I'm sorry. I'm sorry if I'm too controling, too demanding, too and too.. selfish." He tried to make me look into his eyes but I kept avoiding him.
"I'm sorry too." I said in a small voice.
"What?"
"Sorry." I whispered it.
"So.. do you want me to drop you home?" He asked and I looked up to him disbelief. I wiped my and glared at him.
"You want to drop me home?! No.. make up sex?"
"Juliet.." He warned.
"Take me home with you and you have to take care of me until I'm happy!" I said and he my hand leading me to his car.
"What do you want to eat?" He asked as he got into his car.
"I want.. pizza."
"How about drinks?"
"I'll take water."
"Do you need other things?" I turned to him looking at him weirdly.
"What?"
"You're.. suprisingly.. nice." I said looking at him suspiciously.
"I'm nice."
"No, you're not."
"Ouch." He said pretended to be sad.
"You always pick everything.. you asked me but you ended up getting.. everything.."
"Do you need anything else?"
"No, that's all." He drove to a pizza place and bought me 2 boxes of pizza. He then put the pizza the back seat. I thought he will get into the car but he ended up going to a cafe.
He came out with 2 big paper bags. He put it on the backseat too. He got in and smiled widely me.
"What did you buy?"
"You'll see.." He said and he drove to his penthouse. I texted my parents and Wesley that I'll be out with Darren and will come home late.
After we arrived, he went to the lobby asking the valet driver to take care of his car. He picked the two pizza boxes and then the desserts bag. I offered to help but he refused to let me it.
"My eyes.. are puffy.." I said seeing my reflection on the lift door.
"You look cute."
"Says the person who made me cry." I turned to him and he gave me a playful grin. As soon as got into his penthouse, he washed his hands and prepared all the food on the dining table. I to my favorite place right away which is the glass window.
"Come here.." Darren said and I walked to the dining room. My eyes widen when he bought a lot desserts. There's red velvet cake, chocolate cake, lava cake, carrot cake, macaroons, and cheese board.
"Sit down and eat." He said and I sat down grabbing a slice of pizza. I took a bite and it was the pizza that I've ever had.
"Is it good?"
"So good!" I said and I took another bite. We ate and talked about other things other that what two days ago.
After eating lots of pizza, I grabbed the lava cake with me to the glass window. Darren hugged from behind.
"I'm sorry, please forgive me for what happened after that event." He said.
"I'm sorry too."
"I should have not pressure you, it was acting a little too much." He said as he kissed my cheek.
I took a bite of the chocolate lava and turned to him asking if he wants it or not. He shook his .
"We'll take it slow.. starting from now." He said and I smiled. I pulled away from him and put the on the dining table. I drank my water and walked back to him.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him slowly.
"It's my time to eat dessert."
