I walked into my room, still fuming with anger from earlier today's mall event. I threw my bags forcefully on the bed, yelling at the top of my lungs in frustration. "AAAAHHHHHH!"

(A few days later)
Hunter went back to meet with the boys and the council. Why? I have no idea, but I'm guessing it was to see if they could get permission to look through the pack archives we tried saving the other day. My head still couldn't wrap around everything that happened that day.
I hope those kids are ok. The two young girls ended up being taken by Madelyn, and she had them join her pack. Elijah stayed with Margot and Zane under Alarick's pack's care. As for the other little boy, his name is Anthony, and you guessed it, he's with Hunter and me.
We couldn't help but bring him with us. He has no parents, and he has been staying with his grandparents, who were both healers. They both passed away, and now Anthony is staying with us. Hunter had a room built for him inside our room.
He's had it hard, waking up with nightmares every night and crying constantly for the loss of his grandparents. I won't lie, I cry myself to sleep next to him, seeing him so hurt. But I know he will be ok. He's not entirely alone... he has Hunter and me... and a new grandma and auntie to make his life better, little by little.
Today, he started his first day of school. He was reluctant to stay home another day. I wish he could take his time and let himself heal, but he promised he'd be ok. He's such a strong little boy.
The days just got crazy busy around here.

I now not only worried about Hunter and the pack, but now I'm worrying about Anthony and... whether I'll do a good job as Luna. Something inside me always told me I could get the job done, but I couldn't help but feel inadequate from time to time. Luna, Mandy, and Lily have been of great help in filling me in with everything I need to learn to become Luna. They have also spent time with Anthony, trying to make him feel at home. If anyone can relate to him more, it's Lily.
I have a feeling Anthony is more comfortable around her than anyone else.
I am not only taking the required classes before becoming Luna, but I am also taking care of a few things here and there on my own without Luna Mandy's help.
Today, after practice and breakfast, after dropping Anthony off at his school, Hunter dropped me off at the local high school, where I have been visiting different classes and talking to the staff, teachers, and students. I'm overwhelmed at how warmly they have received me.
"Luna, Alpha has requested you to join him at Mrs. Agnes's restaurant for lunch," Spencer says as I stand next to a teacher in the hallway. I smiled, unfolding my hands from in front of my chest and nodding. "Ok... Again, Addison, it was great seeing you. I'll see you later, ok,"
She smiles, touching my arm, "It was a pleasure seeing you again, Abbie... I mean, Luna Abbie." She says, making me chuckle.
"You can call me Abbie. There's no need for so much formality."
"Will you be stopping by tomorrow again? The teens love you. They were participating and working extra hard today because you were here." She says, making me smile.
"I love these kids. They are so smart. They have great teachers here, after all. But, yes, I might be stopping by all week. I'm not sure... I might go check out Anthony's school tomorrow to volunteer, but if not, maybe we can have lunch together tomorrow in the teachers' lounge." I suggested, making her eyes gleam.
"I'd love that. That is... if Alpha doesn't request you to join him again," she adds, making me chuckle.
"I'll see you later, Addison."
"Bye, Luna... I mean, Abbie," she says as she waives me off.
Spencer guided me towards the car and drove me toward the restaurant.
Hunter was already sitting down, reading a few papers in front of him. He had brought a few documents from his office to review while we ate together.
"Hi, baby. Take a seat. I took the liberty to order for us. Is that ok with you?" he says as he sets the papers down, stands, wraps his hands around my waist, and plants a big kiss on my lips, making me smile.
"That is perfectly fine with me. What are we having?" I say as I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him.
"I ordered a steak and rice for me, a burger with seasoned fries, along with a soda for you."
I smiled, kissing him again. I had been crabbing a burger all morning; It was as if he had read my mind. "That sounds great," I say just in time as Analise approaches us with a tray.
"Good afternoon, Luna. Your food is ready. Please let us know if there is anything else we can get for you." she says, giving me a big smile. But my eyes widen as she sets another burger with fries next to me. "Anthony is in the bathroom. He'll be right out," he says, making my eyes water as I smile from ear to ear.
Hunter was still not so friendly with Annalise, but I'm happy he's warmed up so quickly to Anthony. He acted rather cold around her, making her feel a little uncomfortable, but I liked that he was still somewhat polite.
"Bring your Luna two acai bowls as soon as she finishes her food and a banana split with extra syrup for Anthony.." He says coldly, looking over his shoulder and making her retract a step timidly with a nod.
"Hunter, be nice," I say through our mind link, making him growl and causing me and
to chuckle.
"I don't like her around you, Abbie. I don't like anyone else taking your time away from me, period." his mind links back, making me roll my eyes inwardly.
"Hi, Abbie," Anthony calls politely from behind me, making me turn with a smile. "Hi. Are you hungry?" I ask as he sits between Hunter and me.
"Yeah. A little."
"Ok. Maybe just him." Hunter's mind links me, making me look at him dumbfounded.
"He's ok to steal a little of your time from me." he links, making me chuckle.
"How was your first day in school?"
"It was ok. I have a lot of homework. Can you... help me?" he asks, making my heart sink. Is he not the cutest?
"Of course. I'd love to." I said, making him smile slightly.
"Here are your drinks, Luna," Analise says as she sets our sodas before us.
"Thank you, Analise. The food smells great, by the way." I say with a smile, making her smile back politely and turning on her heel.
Hunter and I have fallen into a comfortable routine together, always busy but making time for our new member and making sure we always eat together. We spent as much time together with him, away from our busy schedule, making sure Anthony was included in everything we could.
I couldn't help but smile like a dummy as I saw Hunter and Anthony talk together. Hunter had a way to make him laugh, and that... made me feel a whole lot of new things inside. "He's so wonderful with him, isn't he?" Merida admits, making Titus and I chuckle. "Yeah... he truly is," I reply, sighing, making Hunter glance at me with a big grin. He winks, making me smile wider.
