  Louisa's POV

"Well, the good one," I replied.

"We found that warlock and he's still alive, miss."

"And Colt took him away to the vampire's castle."

"That's great!" I said and frowned. "What about the bad news?"

  "The warlock's in terrible condition."

"He wasn't in good form, miss."

"And Colt was badly hurt because he wanted to protect us."

"It's all my fault, miss," Mata wiped his tears and said.

  "What happened?!" I asked anxiously.

Mata withdrew and hid behind Mana's back. He looked terrified.

I held him back in my arms and stroked his back.

"Please don't be scared. I was just a bit concerned. I wouldn't hurt you, Mata," I said.

"It's all my fault... I saw some shiny gems in a jewelry shop and I couldn't control myself..."

"So he sneaked into that shop and stole the jewelry!" Mana said accusatively.

Mata covered his head and said, "I know! It's all my fault! I shouldn't have done it."

"He didn't get noticed and smoothly ran away. Then, he went back to the shop again!" Mana said.

"Why did you do that?" I asked.

"I left his cloak in the shop, Miss. This cloak is very important to me. You've made it for me by yourself," Mata said with great guilt.

I held him tightly in my arms and said, "Mata, I can always make cloaks for you."

"But I made mistakes and stole their jewelry. I did something bad again. I really couldn't afford to lose that cloak, because... because... I thought you wouldn't want me anymore..." Mata started to cry and Mana joined him.

"Guys, please don't cry. We'll return the jewelry back to the shop together. It's OK to make mistakes because old habits die hard. But if we've done something wrong, we step up and take responsibility to accept the consequence. That is the only thing that matters," I tried to comfort them.

"I went back to the shop and got the cloak, but I was caught by a web. They wanted to beat me to death, and that's when Colt found me and took me away," Mata said.

"Then, someone recognized Colt, calling his name and throwing stones at him," Mana said.

"A stone hit him on his head and he was badly hurt."

"He managed to crawl on the flying machine and fly away."

"But he was bleeding really badly. We're very worried about him."

I looked up and saw Lucas standing behind us, looking at me angrily.

Before I could say anything, he grabbed my arms abruptly and took me up.

Then, he stared at the fishermen druids and said, "You two fuckers, come with me."

"Is he going to kill us, Miss?" Mana looked up at me in fear, stumbling and following Lucas.

"Lucas put me down. You're scaring Mana and Mata!" I said.

Lucas didn't say anything and strode into the Luna Tent.

As soon as we got into the tent, he threw me on the floor and shouted, "What the fuck did you ask these two fuckers to do?!"

Will was sleeping in my hair, but he was woken up. He shifted into human form and pushed Lucas away from me.

"Stay away from Louisa! You're hurting her!" Will shouted and blocked in front of me.

"You two fuckers hypnotized this fucking kid right now and make him sleep!" Lucas yelled at Mana and Mata.

They covered their heads and swirling light started to appear in their eyes.

Before Will fell to the ground, Mana and Mata caught him and lifted him to Darren's empty bed.

"Stop telling them to do bad things to others!" I said and tried to hold Will in my arms, but I was lifted by Lucas and thrown into bed roughly.

"Did you ask them to go and rescue that fucking warlock?!" Lucas asked in rage.

I looked at him and frowned, "How did you know what we were talking about?"

"I'm asking you a fucking question! Tell me!" He barked at me like a mad dog.

"Yes, I have to save Darren. He's my friend and I have to..."

"Where is he?!" Lucas asked and grabbed my arms.

"I'm not going to tell you!" I said.

"Alpha, please don't her! It's our fault!" Mana jumped up and said.

"You can punish us! Please don't hurt her...." Mata stretched out his arms.

"Fuck off! You imbecile frogs! Leave me alone!" Lucas shouted.

  Bang. Bang.

Mana and Mata were kicked by Lucas. They flew in the air for a while and eventually fell heavily to the ground.

"Ahhh..." Mata coughed out some blood and passed out.

"Brother!" Mana struggled and crawled to hold Mata, but he coughed out some blood as well.

"No!!!" I bounced up from the bed and tried to reach them, but I was held by Lucas and pinned on the bed again.

"Where is the fucking warlock?! Tell me!" Lucas was furious.

I saw the murderer's look on his face again.

"I will never tell you! You want to kill him!" I shouted.

"Are you going to run away with him?! Are you going to betray me?! Is this what you're planning to do, she-wolf?! Tell me!" Lucas roared and shook my shoulder.

Looking at Mana and Mata in a puddle of blood, I couldn't hold it anymore.

This demonic, dangerous man was a walking disaster. Wherever he went, people got hurt, tortured, or died.

And he didn't feel even a little bit apologetic for what he had done.

The Moon Goddess sent me to him for a reason.

  A higher purpose.

I knew I had to end his cruelty in case more people get hurt.

  Now or never.

A hot wave spread all over my internal organs and I felt my whole body burning.

  My blood was literally boiling.

"What the fuck..." Lucas withdrew his arms and stepped back.

He tripped over Mana's body and fell to the ground.

I stood up and looked down at my arms.

The translucent fluorescent blue fire was consuming my clothes.

My clothes were reduced to ashes within a blink of an eye.

My whole body was on fire, but I couldn't feel anything.

"Stay away from my friends! Stop hurting them!" I charged at Lucas and grabbed his arms. I kneeled on his chest and pushed him down to the ground.
