Trapped by Him

Chapter 295

The sound made Luana extremely uncomfortable, feeling as if she was sitting on pins and needles. She looked down at her thin dress and groaned inwardly.

According to the rules, losing a round meant she would have to strip completely, which was akin to being exposed for all to see.

What difference was there between her and the women who sold their bodies for a living?

She understood that Naomi was probably taking out her frustration on Luana because of Travis's earlier words. Unable to retaliate against Travis, she used the game as an excuse to vent her anger.

Although Luana saw through the motive, the cards in her hand were terrible.

Coupled with Gehrmann's seemingly deliberate poor play, she was sweating with anxiety.

Today, Cline seemed to be acting out of character, showing no mercy at all.

Every time she played a card, he seemed to deliberately target her.

Luana was so angry her face turned blue. Travis, sitting beside her, noticed her distress and quickly picked her up, placing her on his lap to comfort her.

"Don't worry, let me teach you," he said.

At this moment, Luana's full attention was on the cards, and she didn't even realize she was sitting on Travis's lap.

She desperately turned to ask Travis, "How do I make a sequence with these cards?"

Travis took the cards from her hand, skillfully formed a pure sequence of numbers, and then threw them out.

Naomi's face immediately showed displeasure when she saw this.

She glared at Travis and accused him of cheating.

Travis, however, raised his eyebrows and said, "Just tell me if you can beat this hand."

Naomi snorted coldly. Although she was unhappy, she knew her cards couldn't beat the pure sequence and had to put away her cards, sulking as she leaned back on the sofa.

Seeing Naomi's reaction, Luana knew her hand was indeed unbeatable.

The tight frown on her forehead finally eased slightly.

A trace of barely noticeable joy appeared on her face as she looked back at Travis.

Seeing her smile, Travis felt as if his heart was gently brushed by a feather, causing an itch. Unable to resist, he leaned down and lightly kissed her.

The sudden cold touch instantly brought Luana back from her brief joy.

She then realized she was sitting on Travis's lap.

A flash of panic crossed her face as she struggled to push Travis away. However, Travis held her tightly, unwilling to let go, and whispered a threat in her ear, "If you keep wriggling, I'll take you right here."

Frightened by his words, Luana stopped struggling. Her face turned pale as paper.

She fearfully turned her head, and her gaze collided with Cline's once again.

This time, she clearly saw the look in his eyes—his eyes were slightly red, with a bloodthirsty chill.

His gaze was like a cold blade, stabbing straight at her and causing her heart to tremble.

Cline... Luana's heart was filled with doubt and ripples. Was he concerned about her? As she pondered this, Cline suddenly and unexpectedly played a pair of kings, instantly erasing the small advantage she had just established.

Then, he mercilessly threw down several cards without giving her any chance to fight back.

Luana watched as he played all his cards. The glimmer of hope that had just ignited was instantly extinguished, and her expression suddenly darkened.

Naomi, on the other hand, excitedly said, "I only have one more sequence left."

After speaking, she triumphantly threw the cards onto the table and raised her eyebrows at Gehrmann and Luana, her face full of the victor's attitude, "You lost. According to the rules, both of you have to take off a piece of clothing."

Gehrmann smiled helplessly, put down the handful of cards he hadn't finished playing, and took off his jacket, placing it aside.

Naomi then turned to Luana, her eyes filled with malicious anticipation.

"Luana, Gehrmann has taken off his clothes. Now it's your turn," she said.

Luana's face instantly became stiff, her body trembling as she felt utterly desperate and helpless.

Gehrmann, dressed in a suit, still had a neat white shirt on underneath his jacket.

But she was wearing only this thin dress. If she took it off, she would be completely exposed to everyone.

She slowly raised her eyes and looked around, seeing everyone's gazes fixed on her, as if they were all eagerly waiting for her to undress, yet no one was willing to step forward to help her, not even to say a fair word.
