Trapped by Him

Chapter 314

Travis looked Luana up and down, his eyes igniting with desire at the sight of her in the champagne bridesmaid's dress.

He reached out, pulled her into his arms, and said while caressing her waist, "Since it's signed, why not give it to me sooner?"

"Mr. Elan, I need to ensure the wedding goes smoothly. If you take the contract and then renege and disrupt my friend's wedding, what am I to do?" Luana replied, forcing herself to endure her disgust and deal with him cautiously.

"Do you not trust me?"

"That's correct," Luana stated. "Mr. Elan, you will get the contract tonight."

Her makeup was soft, but her expression was resolute, leaving no room for negotiation.

Travis grinned, "How do I know you're not lying to me?"

Luana took out her phone, opened a document, and showed Travis a fake contract she had prepared in advance.

"Mr. Elan, look closely. This contract is from the Moriarty Group, and it's stamped, so it's genuine."

Her main job in the CEO's office was to receive partners and manage their contracts.

The Moriarty Group, being the largest partner of the Ortega family, was familiar to her, and she knew the appearance of their stamps well.

She drafted a contract based on the template of other bidding contracts from the Moriarty Group and had a stamp made.

She turned the stamped fake contract into a PDF file, making it indistinguishable from the real one.

She deliberately flipped through the pages for Travis to see, and he began to believe her.

"Then bring the contract to my villa tonight," Travis said, imagining how he would take Luana once he had the contract.

The thought of securing his position as heir to the Elan family and winning over Luana, and he released Luana.

Luana breathed a sigh of relief once his hands left her waist.

She clenched her sweaty palms and said through gritted teeth, "Mr. Elan, I've already reserved a place and will send it to you later."

She had no intention of going to his villa. Once on his territory, there would be no escape.

With the fake contract in hand, Travis had to follow her lead if he wanted it.

Hearing this, Travis frowned, "What tricks are you planning?"

Luana shook her head, "I'm not planning any tricks. I just don't want to be forced into sleeping with you. I need to ensure my safety."

She directly addressed Travis's intentions, causing him some embarrassment.

His face turned awkward, but then he thought, no matter where, he would make her submit to him.

With this in mind, Travis stopped worrying about the location.

He looked up at the newlyweds approaching them and threatened Luana with a smile, "Bring it obediently, or my mates and I will have a party after the wedding."

After speaking, he tapped Luana's nose gently, his action affectionate but his gaze dangerous.

Luana felt repulsed inside but nodded on the surface.

"Mr. Elan, rest assured."

With her promise, Travis left with his men.

Once they were gone, the guests began to gossip about Luana, wondering how she had gotten involved with such people.

Luana ignored the gossip and turned to Clarissa and Albert walking towards her.

"Who was that person?" Clarissa asked with a worried look, her intuition telling her that men were not good.

Luana patted Clarissa's hand and said, "That's the CEO of the Elan Group. He came to me for an important contract document."

She raised her voice intentionally. Clarissa's wedding dress had a small microphone attached, and her voice would naturally be broadcast when she spoke close to it.

The guests heard her explanation and began to discuss how impressive it was that Clarissa's friend knew the Elan Group's CEO.

Albert's family was from the suburbs of Greycastle, and although they hadn't met many important figures, they had heard of Elan Group.

Luana's explanation dispelled the guests' doubts, but Clarissa remained uneasy.

She felt there was more to the story—if it was just about a contract, why did the Elan CEO bring so many people?

His demeanor seemed more like he was there to cause trouble.

Moreover, he was touching Luana inappropriately, not like someone pursuing her but rather forcing and threatening her.

The more Clarissa thought about it, the more worried she became. She removed the microphone from her dress and took Luana's hand, her face full of concern.

"Luana, if you're in danger, you must tell me. I will fight to the death to get justice for you!"

Clarissa knew Luana was beautiful and had attracted attention since they were young.

With Albion protecting her in the past, no one dared to approach her.

Now that Albion was gone, Clarissa took on the responsibility of protecting Luana.

Hearing this, Luana felt warmed and her eyes welled up with tears.

Afraid Clarissa would worry more if she saw the tears, she quickly agreed and urged Clarissa to continue with the wedding ceremony.
