The man let out a cold snort as if he had heard a joke, "I'm afraid of him?"
As he spoke, with his hands in his pant pockets and looking down at Luana with an air of arrogance. There was no trace of fear, only a subtle hint of murderous intent.
Luana was taken aback, struck by how much he resembled Cline in that moment.
Just as she thought this, the man suddenly sat down on the sofa, casually playing with the golden knife.
Seeing that the man had no intention of leaving, the chaotic thoughts in Luana's mind vanished instantly.
She approached the man, intending to drive him away.
At that moment, the hotel room door was pounded with a series of heavy knocks.
Hearing the urgent "bang, bang" sounds, her delicate body froze on the spot.
With pleading eyes, she stared at the man's eyes beneath his mask, imploring, "Please, hide in the bathroom for a while, okay?" Her voice was laced with tears, as if she would burst into tears the moment he refused.
The man, seeing her timid and fearful demeanor, felt a bit impatient but got up and went to the bathroom anyway.
Once he was inside, Luana's heart finally settled.
She quickly turned on the light, fished out the prepared fake contract from her bag, and headed towards the door. As soon as she opened it, Travis stormed in.
"You bitch! How dare you..."
"Mr. Elan, here's the contract."
Travis charged in, ready to slap Luana for making him wait so long.
But before his hand could descend, a contract was thrust into his palm.
Seeing the contract, his raised hand slowly lowered. Travis opened the contract and scrutinized it, not finding anything amiss. His mood significantly improved.
Luana had anticipated that Travis would not let her off the hook once he got the contract, especially after drinking the wine laced with sleeping pills.
Everything was going according to plan, except for the man in the bathroom who had disrupted her scheme by arriving first.
If it weren't for him, she wouldn't have been so nervous that her hands shook, alerting Travis to her deceit.
Now, what was she to do? Was she really going to let Travis sleep with her?
As she fretted and perspired, the vibration of her phone interrupted Travis's wandering hands.
"Mr. Elan, your call is coming in. Please take it first," Luana seized the opportunity to push Travis away and stood up from him.
Travis figured he could deal with her later since she wouldn't be going anywhere tonight.
He took out his phone, glanced at the caller ID, and immediately answered with a tone of utmost respect and deference, bowing and scraping in a way that suggested the caller was someone even he couldn't afford to offend.
Luana wasn't interested in who it was.
Her mind was preoccupied with the immediate problem at hand.
Travis spoke on the phone, glancing at the contract, "Is there a problem? I didn't notice anything."
Luana couldn't hear the other side of the conversation, only Travis asking, "Now?" After a pause, he said, "Alright, I'll be right there."
Hearing that he was leaving, Luana grew even more anxious. If she didn't deal with Travis tonight, she would be doomed once the bidding started tomorrow.
She wanted to stop him, but Travis grabbed the contract, kissed her on the cheek, and said, "Baby, I have an urgent matter to attend to. Wait for me here."
Seeing that he would be back, Luana didn't stop him.
Travis would surely return, and she could wait a bit longer.
As Travis left, Luana breathed a sigh of relief. However, the sound from the bathroom made her body tense up again.
There was still someone inside she needed to deal with.
She hurried towards the bathroom.
Just as her hand touched the doorknob, the door swung open from the inside, and a slender hand grabbed her, pulling her in forcefully.
The lights in the bathroom were off, with only a faint yellow light seeping through the crack under the door, barely illuminating the man's tattoo on his collarbone.
Before she could get a better look, the man turned her around, pressing her against the wall.
He embraced her from behind and, once again, secured her hands with the white plastic zip tie.
Then, the expensive tie was swiftly placed over her eyes.
"Ah!" she exclaimed, surprised to find herself bound once more.
Before she could speak, the man suddenly gripped her chin and, without warning, fiercely kissed her red lips.
The moment their lips met, Luana felt his skin, realizing he had removed his mask.
Unfortunately, with her eyes covered, she couldn't see his face.
Pressed against the wall, the man's scorching body nearly burned her delicate form.
His kiss was utterly wild, like a starved wolf eager to devour her whole.
"Mmm..." Unable to move, she could only emit soft, broken moans.
Hearing her soft sounds, the man lost control. His big hands roughly tore off her clothes.
He turned her body to face him and pinned her against the wall, kissing her again.
Luana struggled desperately, but the man effortlessly captured her flailing wrists with one hand, holding them above her head.
His touch was urgent, as if he hadn't been with a woman in ages, eager and fierce, as if he wanted to punish her into submission.
