Twin Obsessions

Chapter Thirty-Four

“You guys are such assholes!” Jax said as he punched the friend sitting closest to him on the arm in frustration, ignoring his pained exclamation as he glared at the three men sitting across from him and Devon at the kitchen counter.

“We said we’re sorry already, damn it!” Lincoln hissed, rubbing the spot on his arm where Jax had gotten him.

“Sorry means shit right now.”

“We use to do that to each other all the time in college, even a few times after that, so we didn’t really think twice before walking in on you guys,” Marius said with an apologetic look as he tried to explain why they had walked in on them half an hour ago and interrupted one of the best sexual experiences that Jax and Devon had ever had.

Jax shifted uncomfortably in his chair as he tried to find a comfortable position. Something which was completely impossible due to the raging hard-on he had, one that refused to go away. Not that he blamed the poor guy for being so stubborn. Jax also still wanted more; he wanted to feel her heat welcoming him inside her body. Feel those tiny little muscles pulling him in further

Fuck, he could have sworn he had died and gone to heaven when her tight passage accepted him.

Now, thanks to their three jackass friends, he was going to have to wait for who knows how long before he could have her like that again. And just the thought of that had him breaking out into cold sweat.

He didn’t think he was going to last very long without a taste of her again.

She was his very own personal drug. One he wanted to take over and over again until it completely and utterly consumed him.

Frustration, mirroring that of his brothers, filled him.

They both knew that this was going to have her clamming up on them again, meaning that they were going to have to start from scratch to get her to open up to them. This meant that they were going to have to wait even longer to claim her as theirs. To prove that she belonged to them and no one else.

“Next time, knock,” Devon said softly, the anger and frustration he was feeling evident in his voice.

His three friends looked at him uneasily before nodding.

“Sure thing, man. It won’t happen again.” Colby reassured him again with an easy-going smile that rivaled even Jax’s. Devon grunted in acknowledgment, knowing that they will make extra sure to never interrupt them again.

“Who is she, though?” Marius asked.

“She ours,” Devon growled, giving him a dark look that would have made any other man run as far and fast as he possibly could. Marius, however, just looked at him as if he had just slapped him.

“I’m just curious, Dev. Relax. We don’t poach on other men’s women; you should know that by now.” Marius said making Devon wince slightly before rubbing the back of his neck with one hand.

“I do know that. It’s just - “He trailed off, unable to find the words he needed to explain what he was feeling. What the woman hiding in the bedroom made him feel and the frustration of knowing that he had been seconds away from filling her. Something he had wanted to do for SIX fucking long months.

“She’s ‘The One’,” Jax told them softly, his lips twitching slightly as his friend's faces went slack with shock and disbelief.

“You’re shitting me,” Colby said, letting the chair that he had been riding on the two back legs drop back down again.

This time, Jax allowed himself to grin as he shook his head.

“Fuck me.“ Lincon said as he whistled long and low.

All three friends knew that Devon and Jax were extremely picky when it came to the woman that they shared, not to mention get serious with, especially after the whole fiasco with Leticia. So, they knew that this lady they had now must be something extra special for the twins to claim that she was “The One”.

“She must really be something then,” Marius said causing Dev and Jax to chuckle.

“You have no idea, my friend,” Devon said with a small smile curving at lips, just as Jesse walked into the room.

Jesse froze as five pairs of eyes swung towards her but, thanks to the pep-talk she had given herself in the room; she pushed the embarrassment of earlier down and turn her into a coward. So instead of turning around and running out of the room like she desperately wanted to do, she folded her arms underneath her chest and lifted one of her perfectly plucked brows. Her bare foot tapped silently on the kitchen tiles as she stared at the men expectantly.

“Well?” She asked when the three men glanced at each other uncertainly. She saw Jax grin and lean back in his chair as he watched the scene play out in front of him while Devon allowed one side of his mouth to quirk up in that adorable way Jesse absolutely loved.

“Well, what?” One of the men asked, his light green filled with confusion.

“Are you going to apologize? Explain? Or perhaps even introduce yourselves?” She asked.

Understanding finally dawned and the one on the very far side, across from Devon stood up and walked towards her with a small smile that lit up his dancing hazel eyes. His blond hair was styled in a careless way, caressing his shoulders and slightly covering his one eye.

“Colby Sanders, ma’am.” He said, introducing himself before giving her over-exaggerated bow that had the shirt he was wearing stretch over his well-built form in the most enticing way. The wink that he sent her way had her lips twitching slightly.

Definitely a charmer, she decided as he straightened up.

“I’m Lincon Mortimer.” Another one said as he stepped up from behind his friend and took her hand lightly in his so that he could lay a small kiss on her knuckles. Jesse raised both brows as he gave her a wide, goofy smile before taking her hand out of his. The quick once-over she gave him was enough for her to take in his lovely dark green eyes, thick eyelashes, and light brown hair that was cut short.

Colby and Lincon together must kill the ladies.

Handsome devils . . .

She dismissed Lincon by turning to the last of the trio, who also happened to be one of the shortest guys Jesse had seen in a very long time. He was also one of the most painfully average ones as well and next to his friends.

“And I’m Marius Morison. It’s very nice to meet you.” He said with a wide smile which revealed his perfectly white teeth. His pale grey eyes were surrounded by light wrinkles that deepened with his smile. His dark brown hair was kept in a neat cut that wasn’t as short as Lincon’s, but also not as long as Colby’s. “Please ignore these two losers. I usually keep them locked up at home but they begged me to let them out for the day. Now I’m thinking that it might not have been the best thing to do. And we’re sorry for walking in like that, it’s just something we used to do when we were at college together to see - well, let’s just say that it was a game to us back then. Not so much now though. So I’d like to apologize for any embarrassment we might have caused you.”

At his sincere apology, Jesse finally allowed herself to smile before shaking his hand.

“Apology accepted and it's fine. I’m Jesse and it’s nice to meet you too. Please take a seat and join us for dinner.” She said, waving her hand in the direction of the chairs they had occupied as she walked to the stove where the food sat, probably cold now from having been kept out for so long.

“No, that’s not necessary we’ll just-“

“Sit,” Jesse said in a way that had the men scrambling to do as she said. The glare she had sent their way over her shoulder smoothed out once they were all once again settled.

Jax’s soft chuckle drew her attention and he winked at her when her eyes finally met his. She surprised even herself then when she winked saucily back at him, enjoying his shocked look.

Turning around long enough to put the food back into the oven so that she could warm it up again, Jesse couldn’t help but think that her conversation with Lou and Sasha might have helped more than she thought it had. That, and the fact that the twins were definitely a bad influence on her.

She jerked slightly in surprise as arms suddenly wrapped themselves around her but relaxed when Devon’s unique scent filled her head. “Thank you.” He said softly into her ear, making her shiver slightly and her skin to tighten at the feel of his body pressed against hers.

“For what?” She asked just as quietly, turning her slightly so that she could look up into his face.

He just shook his head however and kissed her lightly, lingeringly on the lips as his hands moved from where they were crossed atop each other over her stomach so that he could cup her breasts, which were still swollen from earlier.

Jesse lazily blinked up at him as he leaned back so that he could see her face.

Devon felt his heart expand dangerously in his chest as he looked down at the face of the woman who had filled his thoughts from the moment he had first seen her. Who had managed to snuggle into his heart so quietly that he hadn’t realized she had done so until almost three months after she had started working for him.

The need to say how much he really did feel for her built in his throat but he squashed, just like so many times before. He didn’t want to frighten her off. Not now when he was so close to having her. Not as close as earlier but just the fact that she didn’t pull away from them meant that they had made more leeway with her than they had originally thought.

“The food is going to be just another five or so minutes. Would you like some coffee?” She asked him, dragging his attention back to her reddened lips.

Devon nodded and let his arms slowly fall away from her body so that she could move away from him before he forgot about their guests and took her right there and then. He watched her silently, not hearing a word she said to the others, focusing instead on the way her hair fell around her body, the graceful way she moved, and the way her face just brightened beautifully when she smiled and shook her head at something Lincon said to her.

He saw Jax’s face above the head of their friends and felt a smile threaten at the expression on his face as he too watched their woman.

Jax had been right when he had said that Jesse was “The One”, just watching her now strengthened his belief in that. She was perfect in every way possible, and even more than that.

He was so glad that she hadn’t decided to hide away from them again, to instead come out with that saucy attitude he had only gotten to see a couple of times. One that he wished she wouldn’t stash away. He loved that part of her and wanted her to turn it on to him again so that he could punish her.

To tie her up and explore her body slowly, inch by glorious inch while listening to her pleading cries that he knew would fill his ears like the sweetest music. He would keep her on the verge of orgasm for so long that she would forget even her own name, remembering only his as she would scream it out when he finally did decide that she had learned her lesson and allowed her what she desperately wanted.

“Where did you get her?” Marius suddenly asked him.

“She’s Dev’s secretary.”

“Lucky bastard. That’s one hell of a woman two have gotten yourselves there. If you know where to get more of them let us know, we could definitely do with one.” He told Jax, making him laugh aloud.

“She has two friends and by the look of things, I think they’re both available but quite a handful.” Which was the understatement of the century but he left it at that. No use in scaring them away before they could meet the two women.

Besides, the three of them needed someone interesting that could keep up with their various personalities.

“If they’re anything like Jesse I would like to meet them,” Marius said and smiled up at Jesse as she placed a cup of steaming tea in front of him.

“Meet who?” She asked curiously as she put Jax’s cup in front of him. Absentmindedly dropping a kiss on his cheek before moving away to get her own.

“Your friends,” Jax answered, grinning at his friend who glared at him.

“Oh. Uhm, I think it would be safer to rather keep that from happening.” Jesse said hesitantly as she took a seat between Jax and Devon.

Marius, Lincon, and Colby looked at her, offended.

“Hey, we’re a decent pair of guys,” Lincoln informed her, puffing out his chest slightly.

“Oh shit, I didn’t mean it like that! I meant it would be safer for you. My friends would eat you guys for a light noon snack.” She informed them, only to make them laugh. She shook her head and smiled before taking a sip of her coffee.

Obviously, they thought she was joking.

If only they knew . . .
