Twin Obsessions

Chapter Twenty-Four

Apr 18, 2026 24 / 48

Jesse stood at her desk at work the next morning and tried to ignore the curious looks she was getting from her female colleagues and the admiring one’s from their male counterparts. She had known when she had sat in the car on the way here that they would have some kind of reaction to her and she had hoped that they would quickly get over their surprise.

That hope had faded around lunchtime and it was all thanks to Jax.

When she had walked into the kitchen this morning, wearing the suit she had worn on Friday, having hand washed it and left to dry the night before, he had taken one look at her before throwing her over his shoulder and carrying her back into her bedroom. Once there, he gently put her on the bed and walked out the room without another word.

Leaving behind a very surprised and confused Jesse.

A minute later he came back but not empty handed.

A hanger was hooked onto his one finger and it held one of the most beautiful suits Jesse had ever seen. It was darkish grey in colour, with a small jacket that would only close underneath her breasts and a skirt that she knew would be shorter than anything she had ever worn at the office. There was also a light blue shirt that went with it.

Laying the suit next to her on the bed, Jax proceeded to open her bag, which contained all the clothes he had packed for her, and took a small pair of grey heels. He hesitated for a second as he approached her and quickly went over to the bag with the underwear she had gotten from Pleasure Box and took out a blue lacy thong and matching bra.

That he placed next to the suit on the bed before bending low to kiss her on the lips and saying “We’re not leaving until you put that on.”

Jesse hadn’t taken him seriously at first and left the room to go back to the kitchen, only to have him carry her back to the bedroom when he saw that she wasn’t dressed in what he had laid out for her.

After the fifth time of that happening, Jesse let out a frustrated sigh and quickly changed. They didn’t have any more time to waste with Jax’s little game.

This time when she had walked into the kitchen, he gave a nod of satisfaction but not before giving her a slowly, thorough look-over that her something fluttering excitedly in her stomach. He got up and grabbed the car keys and headed towards the front door with Jesse following close behind. Before she could walk out the room, however, Devon grabbed her lightly around her wrist to stop her.

His lips covered hers in a kiss that made her toes curl as soon as she turned her head up to look at him.

It wasn’t until she sat in the car that she realized that he had done that to distract her while he stole her hair band, letting her hair flow loose around her body. Something he seemed to enjoy as he twirled one of her curls around his finger as he drove.

“I don’t know if it’s just me but every time I see you, you just seem to be getting sexier.” Sasha said suddenly, pulling Jesse from her thoughts as she leaned her hip against Jesse’s desk, a wide grin on her face.

Jesse rolled her eyes and leaned back on her chair.

“I think it’s just you.”

“And those two men who just cant stop staring at you.” Sasha said in a conspiratorial whisper as she leaned in closer to her and nodded over Jesse’s shoulder towards Devon’s office.

Sure enough, when she turned around, there he was looking right at her.

Her face was slightly red as she turned back to her friend whose grin had gotten even wider. A knowing look sparkled in her green eyes.

“Something you want to tell me?”

“Not particularly, no.” Jesse said with a shrug making Sasha pout prettily.

“You never want to tell me anything good.” She whined.

Jesse’s lips twitched as she fought not to smile at the red-head.

“Maybe that’s because there’s never anything good to tell you.”

Sasha snorted softly at that.

“Bullshit. That man is looking at you like he is remembering a night of extremely amazing sex.” She informed Jesse, causing her face to blaze up even more. “Ha! I knew it!” Sasha crowed loudly.

“Would you shush?!” Jesse hissed, looking around to see if anyone close by had heard her friend.

“Whatever for? I’m proud of you for getting past your, well, past and doing the nasty with-“Sasha’s words were cut off as Jesse quickly put her hand over her mouth before she could say anything more. Her friends’ eyes sparkled mischievously at her over the top of her hand.

“Oh my God, Sash! Would you just shut up?” She asked her friend desperately. She didn’t want the whole office knowing what was going on in her private life.

“Only if you promise to tell me everything.” Sasha said as she pulled Jess’s hand away from her mouth.

“Everything?”

“Everything.” Sasha confirmed with a smile that could only be described in Jesse’s mind as evil.

“I don’t-Okay, okay!” She exclaimed as Sasha opened her mouth with a look that only bode ill for Jesse. ”Jesus. Fine. I’ll tell you everything.”

“Good. I’ll meet you at Lou’s after work.” She said as she pushed herself away from Jesse’s desk.

“Today?” Jesse squeaked.

Sasha gave her a look that spoke volumes.

“Of course today! When else?” She asked and without waiting for a reply, she turned around and headed back to her cubical.

Jesse sighed and slumped in her chair, covering her face with her one hand as she thought of what she was going to tell her two very nosy friends because she knew they would be able to tell if she was keeping anything from them.

“What’s wrong?” Jax asked behind her causing her to surge up straight in her chair in fright.

“Nothing, why do you ask?”

Jax shrugged as he sat on the edge of her desk, right next to her. So close that she was instantly surrounded by his unique scent of leather andMan.A scent that sent her heart racing and her womb clenching.

“You seem to be worrying about something. That’s all.” He told her with a small, half smile.

“It’s fine. My friend Sasha just has this way of annoying me.” She said with a smile to prove that everything was alright.

“You sure?” He asked dubiously.

“I’m sure.”

“Good. I actually came to you for a reason.”

“What? Is your office not to your likening because I can always change-“

“No, no. The office is fine. Perfect in fact. I just wanted to ask you if you . . . wanted to slip away for a few seconds.” He asked with a look in his eyes that Jesse was fast coming to recognize, a look that had excitement rising in her chest even as a small part of her felt a bit shocked at his suggestion.

“Now?” She asked in a whisper, her eyes flickering around the office.

“No better time than the present.” He said with a grin as he reached out to roll a strand of her hair through his fingers.

“But we’re at the office.” She informed him just in case he had forgotten that tiny little fact.

“And?”

Jesse just stared at him.

“Is that a ‘no’ then?” He asked, sounding just a tad disappointed.

“Of course it’s a no!” She forced herself to say before she could give into her body’s demands and follow him to wherever he wanted to go.

“Another time then, perhaps.” He said softly before walking away again, leaving Jesse staring after him. Her hands clutching at her desk so that she didn’t get up to follow him. To push him into his office to have her dirty way with him.

A rolled up ball of paper hit her in the face and fell on her desk. Glancing up, Jesse saw Sasha looking at her over the walls of her cubical and giving her two thumbs up. Her eyebrows doing a crazy dance as she tilted her head to where Jax had disappeared to.

Jesse rolled her eyes and shook her head before looking that way, surprisingly enough he was standing within his office door looking at her. Once he knew she saw him, he grinned at her, gave her two thumbs up and winked before closing the door.

Jesse’s eyes narrowed slightly.

That bastard had done that on purpose!

He had probably overheard her talk with Sasha and decided to have a bit of fun.

Jesse sighed and forced herself back to work.

Between her men and her friends, she was either going to become some sex crazed nymphomaniac or go grey before her time.

The first option seemed a bit more exciting.

Thank God that was over. Jesse thought to herself as she stepped out of Louise’s after two hours of talking.

Or rather, of being interrogated.

Lou and Sasha had grilled her for every piece of information, every tidbit of what had happened between her and the twins in the last few days. She had told them hesitatingly at first but as soon as she got started the words started flowing out easier.

And as embarrassing as it was, it also took a load off of her chest. Especially since her friends had passed no judgment on her for having feelings for two men.

The only thing they had been upset about was that Jesse hadn’t told them sooner what had been happening. Though they had agreed that probably also would’ve forgotten if they had two men as sexy as Devon and Jax plying them with attention.

So she was forgiven but not after promising that she would keep them more up-to-date with what was happening.

Soon their talk had gotten more serious than any other. They had spoken about the men and how they were with Jesse. What they each did when they were with her and what they said. They spoke of her reactions to them and how she felt about it, as well as how she felt about them.

After her discussion with them she had a clearer view of her relationship with them, thanks to her friends.

Who really were the best, once they put their perverted thoughts on pause.

So now she stood outside Louise’s waiting for Devon and Jax to pick her up, like they said they would when she had told her of her plans for meeting with Sasha and Lou.

Thinking of ‘phoning them, just to make sure they got her message, Jesse reached inside her handbag which she had strapped tightly to her shoulder. Freezing with her hand around her ‘phone when a hauntingly familiar voice spoke behind her.

“Jesse?” Luke asked, sounding shocked and Jesse turned slowly around to face him.

He still looked the same as the last time Jesse had seen him, two years ago which surprised her, because he suddenly didn’t look as handsome as she had always thought him to be. His dull brown hair cut so that it hid his ears which he had always moaned were too big and she now saw that he was right. There were just a few more lines at the corners of his light brown eyes and his lips also looked just a little bit too thin. He was still slender and proudly tall as ever.

“Luke.” She said coolly in greeting, feeling proud of herself for not revealing how surprised she was to see him.

“It really is you!” He said with a wide friendly smile as he stepped closer to her, his arms spread wide to hug her. Jesse gracefully side stepped him, ignoring his look of surprise as she did so.

Arrogant asshole had probably thought that she was going to fall right into his arms in joy of seeing him now.

She straightened her back and tilted her head to the side in curiosity as she kept her face carefully blank.

“What are you doing here?” She asked him.

“Why’re you suddenly so cold, doll?” He asked ignoring her question all together and she once again moved away from him when he tried to touch her arm which was now crossed under her chest.

“I’m not your doll. What are you doing here?” She asked, putting a bit more force into her voice to show him that she wasn’t in the mood to play one of his stupid little games.

Luke’s eyes darkened dangerously and Jesse cringed inwardly. She always hated it when his eyes did that because thing always turned ugly afterwards.

“I’ve been looking for you. One of the old gang told me where they constantly see you and I decided to take a chance.” He answered with a smile that she could see was forced, his tone light and friendly which surprised her even more.

“Oh?”

“I’ve missed you, doll.” He told her stepping closer to her, pushing the boundaries of her personal space.

“Somehow I find that hard to believe since you’re the one who left me. Claiming that you had found someone better than me.” She told him still keeping her cool even as the old bitterness she had felt back then threatened to spill over once again.

Luke chuckled softly as he stepped even closer to her, his chest brushing against her arms which were crossed under her chest.

“That was just me running away scared.”

“Scared of what?”

“Us and how serious we were. I knew you were looking for marriage and I thought I wasn’t ready, so I left.” He explained, setting his hands on her shoulders but she quickly shrugged them off and shifted her feet so that she moved a bit away from him.

His closeness was starting make her feel uncomfortable.

His eyes darkened even more until they were almost pitch black and Jesse prepared herself for the explosion that was bound to happen but, once again, he smiled at her forcefully.

That’s when it clicked.

He wanted something from her.

It was just like when they were dating. He would only be nice to her once he wanted something. He was in for big surprise, however.

She wasn’t going to let him use her like that again.

“I’ve come to beg your forgiveness and ask you take me back.” He said when Jesse just stared at him without saying a word, giving her the smile that he knew always worked to soften her up.

He ground his teeth even more as she just looked at him with this blank look that revealed nothing of what she was thinking; unlike in the past where he had been able to read her every thought like it was written on her face.

“You actually expect me to believe that?” She finally asked.

“It’s the truth, doll.” He answered and lifted his hand to touch her cheek, only to clench it in a fist of frustration and drop it to his side when she jerked her face away from him.

“Piss off Luke, I don’t have time for you’re bullshit. Besides, I’ve found someone better than you.” She told him tauntingly him and turned on her heel to walk away. She’ll just wit inside by Lou for Devon and Jax to show up.

Finally, Luke snapped and he grabbed her shoulder to roughly turn her back to him before shoving her hard against the wall behind her. Ignoring the way she struggled against him.

“You stupid bitch! No one will ever be better for you than me. Me! I’m the one who can manage not to shudder when that filthy hair of our touches my skin. I’m the one can actually stand looking at that disgusting body of yours long enough to give you some form of pleasure. And I’m the one who accepts your frigid manner and meager skills in bed. Me! No on-“His words were cut off as he was suddenly lifted away from Jesse and pushed so high against the wall by his throat that his toes barely even touched the ground.

Jax grabbed Jesse and pulled her into his arms protectively as Devon pushed his face close the bastard who had dared touch their Jesse, who had dared speak to her in such a manner to make her feel less than what she really was.

“Care to repeat to me what you just said to our woman?” Devon asked Luke in a low, dangerous voice that had chills crawling up Jesse’s spine.

She shivered and Jax pulled her even closer to him, crooning softly into her ear even as he kept an eye on Devon, who didn’t seem to register the fact that the man he was holding was clutching at his hand, his face turning a dangerous shade of red.

Luke gurgled something incoherent and Devon loosened his grip enough so that he drag in a breath.

“Our?” Luke managed to get out, his eyes flickering to where Jax held Jesse.

“Yes, ours. So if either my brother or I ever catch you around Jesse again, we will rip you apart. Do you understand?” Devon asked harshly and shook Luke roughly to get his attention away from Jesse, who he had been eyeing in a way neither brother liked. “Do you understand?” He asked again, this time adding a bit more of a threatening growl in his tone that had Luke’s eyes widening and nodding.

“Good, now get out of my sight before I do something I won’t regret.” He said and threw Luke a few meters away from him.

Luke landed in an inelegant heap on the floor and as he straightened himself up, he shot Jesse a look that said that she hadn’t seen the last of him. Jesse suppressed a shudder and turned her face into Jax’s chest; breathing in his scent as Devon stepped up behind her and also wrapped his arms around her.

And as she stood in their warm gentle embrace, listening to the words they softly whispered to her, Jesse knew without a doubt that she was hopelessly and deeply in love with both men.
