Summer Nollan

"Don't even think about flirting with her!" Wesley hissed at Darren and Darren turned to me at me mocking my existence. He really loves to bully me huh? He will get all the chance do it huh?

"She's not even close to beautiful." Darren said and my heart dropped. This is my first time someone mocking my face directly. I scowled looking at him.

"Are you done?"

"Why are you so harsh on her?" Jonah elbowed him and how I wanted to throw my glass to him.

"Jonah can teach her." Wesley said and I smiled. I turned to Jonah and he put his hand in front me giving me a high five.

"Can I have your phone number?" Jonah asked as he took out his phone. He gave it to me and I it in.

"Here you go." The food came in time and all I can say is that it tasted so amazing. I'm out of and usually I'm pretty talkative but I can't help but not saying anything. These foods left speechless.

"I'll take you here more often." Wesley said and I shook my head.

"What? Why? You like it." He said and Jonah chuckled.

"Just take her here when she wants chinese food, don't need to ask for her permission. She will the offer." I glared at Jonah for how accurate he is.

"Right." Wesley said. As for Darren, he ate silently and sometimes they talked about business the majority of the dinner, he was busy eating and sometimes he stole glances at me.

Wesley asked for the bill and when I saw it, my heart dropped. It's almost three thousand . What did we just eat? Before I could protest, Wesley shut my mouth with some .

"Thanks, Wes." I said and he smiled.

"You're welcome, sister."

We walked out from the building and there's two cars already.

"I have to go home right away." Darren announced and Wesley thanked him.

"Bye, see you tomorrow." Jonah waved his hand and Darren looked at me one last time before into his car. He must have called his driver earlier.

"Does he always act like this?" I asked as we all saw his car drive away.

"No, he's not usually like this." Jonah said.

"Don't mind him, he's a jerk." Wesley said as he gestured me to go into the car.

"How old is he?"

"24 years old, just like me." Wesley said. My phone rang and I quickly took it out from my bag it's Hanni.

"SUMMEERRRRR!" She literaly screamed her lungs out.

"You really need to quit that habit of screaming on the phone!" I hissed.

"Sorry.. but.."

"What? What's up?"

"Uhmm about the musica concert."

"Yes, why? Didn't you get the ticket?"

"Yes, I did. I did.. but.. I did get the ticket." She was stuttering.

"What? But what?"

"My dad asked me to go with him to Paris. It's on the same day, I tried to protest but he is me go."

"You can't go?"

"I'm sorry." I can tell that she felt so bad.

"It's okay, we can watch it next time." I sighed.

"No! Absolutely not! I'll give the tickets to you so you have to drag Wesley with you." I turned to .

"Okay, I will go to your place tomorrow."

"I'm sorry, please don't be mad at me." She begged and I chuckled.

"Don't worry, I'm not mad. How can I be?"

"Thankyou and sorry."

"It's okay."

"I'll call you later." With that I hung up. Jonah and Wesley turned to me waiting for me to explain call.

"What happened?" Wesley asked.

"Me and Hanni were suppord to watch a musical theatre together but she has to go somewhere her family so she can't come. Will you come with me?" I asked him.

"Musical theatre? Darren is a fan." Jonah said and I shook my head slowly but I don't think none them realized that.

"You can go with Darren." Wesley said.

"No, he's mean." I said and they both chuckled.

"He's not as bad as it seems, Summer. This is actually my first time seeing him being an but he usually a really good guy." I wanted to glare my brother but I can't. He's Darren's and he knows him a lot longer than he knows me. So I won't even comment on that.

"Not for me."

"How about you try ask him? I'll give you his number." Wesley said and he turned to Jonah with really weird look.

"I don't want to go with him, I don't think it's a great idea."

"Conte, could you go back to Nollan's building? Summer has something to ask you." My eyes when I heard Jonah. He called him, how dare he? I wanted to smack him so bad but I it's so rude to do so since this is my first time meeting him.

"Summer, she wants to talk to you."

"No, I don't want to!" I said loud enough.

"Great, see you there." With that Jonah ended the call and he smirked.

"Why did you do that?" I hissed.

"You need help in asking, so I'm helping." Jonah said and my jaw fell. I turned to Wesley and he busy with his phone. I leaned my body back to my chair and sighed.

We arrived back at the office and Wesley told me that he has more work. Jonah told me to wait for Darren and he walked into the building with Wesley.

I stood there for a good 10 minutes and a black car stopped right in front of me. Darren got out the car and he gave me a black pouch. I looked at him with questioning eyes.

"What is it?"

"The money, all of it. Your brother's and yours. I don't want it." He said and I raised my .

"Why? You already repaired the damage so I have to pay it back. I promised to take for it." I said.

"I didn't repair the car." What?

"What? Why? I thought you-"

"Just take it! I don't want the money!" He raised his voice a little making me take a step back.

"What do you want then?" I asked and he looked away.

"What do you want, Darren Conte?" I asked again but this time I raised my voice a little. He then to me.

"Be my date to my ex's wedding." I can't believe this man.

"Me? You're asking me?"

"I don't like to repeat my words, Summer. I bet you heard it already." He hissed.

"I get it." I hissed and crossed my arms in front of my chest.

"In return, can I ask you a favor?" I asked.

"What favor? You crash-"

"Watch a musical theatre concert with me this Saturday." I cut him.

"No." He answered it in a speed of light, like he didn't even need to think about it.

"No?"

"Do I have to repeat it again?" He asked coldly and I sighed.

"Do you have to be an asshole?"

"Next week, we're taking a flight to Seattle. We will be staying for one night."

"I didn't even agree to-"

"You have no choice, this is your payment for my car."

"I don't want to go." I said as I gave the money back.

"Summer." He said in a warning tone.

"Ask me nicely, then I'll consider." I said and he gave me back the pouch with one hundred and thousand dollars in it.

"Be there, or else." With that he got into his car and left.
