Trapped by Him

Chapter 141

Derrick had always been gentle and polite to others, but now he was screaming as if he had gone crazy.

He was in agony, yet he laughed aloud.

"Patrick, that's ridiculous. What makes you think you can ask me to do something you can't do?" Derrick looked at Patrick and said, "I will never admit that I would fall in love with such a woman!"

Patrick ignored Derrick's insanity. He looked at Derrick and said, "In that case, stay away from her. You might be right, but I will use my way to express those words that I can't say."

Derrick looked at Patrick like he was looking at a fool.

Derrick laughed and said, "Patrick, you are so ridiculous. I'll be watching you and seeing what you will do. As for Gloria, I have already given up on her. I won't be anywhere near her again."

Patrick turned around and left. "I hope you will keep your word."

Ignoring the shards of glass all over the ground, Derrick raised his hand and pressed his chest. Only then could he suppress the pain in his hollowed heart.

The two different voices in his head started battling again.

One said, "Don't miss it."

Another said, "You did the right thing."

The first voice roared, "You will regret it. You will regret it, Derrick!"

"No! I will never regret it!" Derrick smashed his fist to the ground, and more shards pierced his skin. However, he did not feel any pain. He only felt a tearing pain in his chest!

Patrick did not say another word to Derrick and left the room.

Patrick believed that the pain Derrick felt at the moment was only the beginning and he would suffer more from it in the future.

Patrick knew it because he had been through it.

Motivated by sheer vanity, Derrick lost an important person in his life.

Although he was angry, Patrick also felt lucky. If Derrick continued to be good to Gloria, Patrick felt that Gloria would fall in love with Derrick one day.

Patrick returned to his car. He drove on the road under the moonlight.

Before this, there were many things that he couldn't understand. But when he arrived at the gate of the amusement park and saw Gloria sitting in the corner, Patrick suddenly understood.

Gloria was gone and only he knew how anxious and nervous he was.

He kept looking for her on the road and then kept asking if someone saw her. At that time, Patrick was so anxious that he had no time to think about it. Why was he so anxious when an insignificant woman disappeared?

Later, next to the gate of the amusement park, he found Gloria.

Gloria was indeed here. At that moment, as Patrick saw her, all the anxiety and tension in his heart had been smoothed out.

Patrick came in front of her and looked at her for 15 minutes and only he knew what was on his mind during that time.

"Leo, I think I fell in love with her." Patrick's voice was calm.

"I knew it long ago. I told you about it." Leo was not surprised. He asked, "So when are you going to mark her?"

"I can't," Patrick said again.

Leo couldn't accept it. Leo said angrily, "Why? We need a mate. The wolf pack needs Luna."

"You know about Gloria. Do you think our wolf pack will accept a Luna like her?" Patrick asked.

Patrick focused on driving after he finished speaking. He didn't care about Leo's answer, because he already had the answer.

Patrick's car slowly stopped outside of Fittro Club. He didn't get out and took out his cigarette case.

The flame of the lighter flashed in the night. The cigarette butt glowed red in the darkness. He took a deep breath, then put out the cigarette butt, pushed the door open, and got out of the car.

Patrick walked out of the elevator to the top floor. The two guards standing outside his suite wanted to greet him as Patrick was walking toward them.

Patrick raised his slender finger to his lips. The guards nodded and left the room quietly.

He opened the door and his gaze swept across the bed. He looked at Gloria and asked, "Why aren't you sleeping?"

Gloria leaned against the headboard. She curled up and hugged her knees. When she heard his voice, she slowly turned her head. Her gaze moved from the window to Patrick who was standing at the door. She said, "I'm not sleepy."

Patrick glanced at her clothes and said, "What did I tell you before I left? Take a bath and then go to sleep. Or I will help you do it and sleep with you."

His gaze swept past her clothes and then fell back on her face. "You shouldn't be on my bed without a shower."

Gloria wanted to leave and lifted the quilt. She slowly sat on the edge of the bed and was about to get out of bed.

Patrick stood at the door without moving. His gaze had always been on Gloria. Patrick watched as Gloria walked towards the door.

He felt a little amused in his heart. Gloria was still so stubborn.

Gloria was planning to leave. When she passed by the door, Patrick suddenly grabbed her by her collar. Then, he dragged her to the bathroom.

"Mr. Hammond, what are you going to do?" Gloria was a little angry.

Today, she was a little tired. She did not want to face him, and she did not want to deal with him.

However, Patrick did not respond to her. He reached out and began to take off her clothes.

Gloria suddenly became nervous. The color drained from her face and she shouted, "Go away. Don't touch me!"

Gloria pushed Patrick away. She immediately retreated nervously. She stared at Patrick vigilantly. Her palms were sweating.

She said, "Mr. Hammond, aren't you the one who said that I am dirty? Since you think I am dirty, what do you think you are doing now?"
