"Alpha Thor, do you want such an ugly werewolf?" Patrick said contemptuously.
"Impossible. No one in Fittro Club is ugly." Thor smiled, "Alpha Patrick, I know that you have good taste, so the employees here are all beautiful."
"You don't believe me?" Patrick's lips curled into a faint smile as his eyes rested on Gloria's face. "Go wash it off."
Gloria was about to stand up.
"Crawl," Thor said from the side.
Gloria's hands, which were on the ground, clenched...
She roared in her heart, 'Hold on! Gloria! This is nothing compared to three years of imprisonment!'
Gloria crawled to the bathroom in the private room obediently. After she washed her face, she walked to the door of the bathroom and opened it.
"Such a weak werewolf. Who said you can walk?" Thor looked at Gloria and said, "What do you think you should do now?"
Gloria crouched silently and started crawling. Her legs were impaired, and she had been crawling on the ground for a long time. She was in so much pain that her face turned pale.
Dignity, she told herself, meant nothing to her, and she would endure more than a man could, despite great pain, without uttering a sound.
Christine came up from downstairs. Just as she walked up the stairs, she saw a woman standing at the door of the private room.
She walked over and asked, "Ruby, what are you doing here?"
Ruby turned her head in shock. Her expression grew unnatural as she saw clearly who was behind her. "Nothing."
At first, Christine sent Ruby to serve Patrick and the others because Ruby was also a werewolf.
But she heard that Damon had suddenly changed his mind and asked for Gloria.
Ruby was kicked out of the room and was not happy with it. Since there was no one around, she cracked the door and peeked inside through the gap. When she looked inside, her eyes widened at the scene and she mocked Gloria inside.
"This is none of your business. Go to the first floor and take care of the guests."
Ruby wanted to say something, but Christine glanced at her. Ruby left reluctantly.
She thought, 'I am a member of the pack, but Christine did not help me. Instead, she would rather help a rogue.
The people who came this time are from the Black Moon Pack. If my mate was among them, then I would not need to work here anymore.'
Ruby stomped her feet and left angrily.
Christine pushed the door gently, then, she was shocked at the scene.
"Hurry! Crawl toward me," Thor said with a smile. He shifted back into human form.
Under Patrick's gaze, Gloria crawled to Thor without a word. In the darkness, a violent storm swept through Patrick's eyes!
Gloria!
Patrick's eyes burned with rage, and an indescribable gloom came over him.
It never occurred to Patrick why he should be so angry when he looked at the woman he hated so much. After all, she was so lowly, so humble.
He wanted to humiliate Gloria, and he had achieved his goal. But why didn't he feel any joy in his heart?
"Raise your head." Thor's words echoed in Gloria's ears.
She raised her head slowly as he said, like a wooden doll without a soul. With a single command from Thor, she moved.
"She is so ugly!" A werewolf behind Thor cried out. He glared at Gloria as if he had seen a monster. "Alpha Thor, she is really ugly."
Gloria was not ugly. When she was still the daughter of the Alpha of the Silver Spring Pack, her beauty was recognized by the surrounding packs.
But three years in a werewolf prison had made her unusually old.
Thor shouted, "Raise your head!"
Seeing that Gloria didn't move, Thor shouted unpleasantly, "I told you to raise your head! Are you deaf?"
He sneered, "Do you want me to make you do that?"
Gloria braced herself and looked up. The next second, with a splash, Thor poured the wine from his glass into Gloria's face. Caught off guard, Gloria coughed violently, her nose and eyes choked with wine and her face pale.
Thor placed the wine glass on the crystal table and said with a nasty smile, "You look disgusting."
After that, he and those around him laughed derisively. He waved his hand. "But I'll keep my word. The money is yours! Get out of here!"
Gloria was still sprawled on the ground. She stretched out her trembling hand and used almost all her strength to grab the money from the ground.
She didn't know how she left the room. When the voice behind her disappeared, she realized that she had indeed left the room.
"Let me help you."
However, Gloria dodged as if she was burnt. She looked up and said, "Christine."
Christine saw that Gloria was forcing a smile at her and said, "I'm OK."
Christine's breathing stopped for a moment and she thought, 'How can she be OK?'
"I am OK," Gloria repeated firmly.
"Christine, please help me put the money into my bank card." Gloria leaned against the wall, trying to support herself from falling. She slowly took out the money she earned at the cost of her dignity.
Patrick was Christine's boss, and Christine couldn't say that Patrick was wrong. But when she looked at Gloria, she felt bad for her.
She thought, 'How did Gloria offend Mr. Hammond that she has to endure such ruthless punishment?'
Christine had a complicated look as she watched Gloria limp away.
Christine turned and walked away. She rushed into her office and stuffed the bank card and the money into the safe. Only then did she feel that her palms no longer ached as if they had been burned.
