Being locked away in the house almost the entire day, Madison suggested, we should take a walk to see around her land.
"What if the alpha sees me," I said worriedly.
"You'll be fine," retorted Madison sounding certain we'd be.
I had doubts the alpha would have issues with me being on his land. After all, he wanted nothing to do with me.
"I don't want to go."
"No, you have to," disagreed Madison.
"A wolf cannot be indoors every day, you need to take a walk, or a run and enjoy outside," protested Madison.
It was true, but I fear upsetting the alpha anymore.
"I'll stay outside on the porch and take a short walk around your house," I suggested.
"No, no," retorted Madison.
"I know I promised you that I won't pressure you to do anything but I have to break that promise, we're going for a walk whether you like it or not."
Madison held me by the hand as we left the house, leaving her small piece of land.
I smelled the air and the cool breeze touching my skin. My eyes closed enjoying the touch.
"I'm glad I've decided to take you out," I heard Madison.
We both were soon on a path that was filled with building on each side and wolves within their human form, children and adults passing by.
Madison saw the curious expression on my face.
"This is the main area of the pack's land. This is where all businesses, such as clothing, food, restaurant, and entertainment are.
I heard loud laughter and my head turned to my right side. I saw children, girls, and boys, standing before an adult with a strange round object he had in his hand on a string that was floating.
"What is that?" I asked Madison.
Madison looked at me sadly before answering.
"It's a balloon," she said.
I watched a girl take it from the adult and ran happily. I smiled seeing the balloon float above her head.
"Rain," Madison called.
I turned to her.
"It pains my heart every day knowing you never had a good life," said Madison.
"But I want you to know that I'm going to make sure that you receive everything you should have had growing up."
I smiled.
"Now, let's get you a balloon."
Madison took me to the male who was selling the balloon.
"What color do you want?" asked Madison.
"Blue," I told her.
Blue was my favourite color also it was my mom's.
Madison paid the man and gave me the balloon. I held it and stare at it floating in my hand with a smile. It felt so light. It was beautiful.
"Let's get you something to eat," said Madison.
We parted through to the crowd and stopped at a small building that was selling strange decorative meal that was so beautiful.
"What are those?" I asked.
"Candies, chocolate, cakes, and donuts," said Madison.
"Which one do you want to try?" she asked.
I pointed at the candy. A round, colorful, red one.
She paid for it.
"This candy is called a lollipop," explained Madison as she gave it to me.
I took it from her hand and brought it very near to my eyes staring at it with curiosity. Observing the myriad colors it had.
"Try it," Madison told me as she removed the covering.
My tongue stretched out for it, taking the first lick.
My eyes widened, stunned by its sweetness. I began to lick it repeatedly, loving its taste.
"Hi Madison, have you gotten the item from Jenny," A strange lady called Madison.
"Stay right here and don't move, I'll be back in a minute," Madison told me as she walked over to the lady.
I was about to bite right into the lollipop. I held it with my next hand, not remembering I had the balloon in my hand. My balloon blew away. I immediately chased it. The wind carried it left and I followed it. I paused seeing it go through a window of a building I could barely see in. I didn't want to lose the ballon. I ran after it, I opened the door of the strange building and went inside.
I froze as I saw the alpha facing me with my ballon in his hand. The lollipop fell from my hand, petrified. The alpha wasn't alone. He was with many other men. Before them, they had a glass of drink.
"What are you doing in here?" I heard Madison.
I was so happy that she somehow followed me, I ran behind her and hid as she approached me. My eyes never left the alpha from her side.
"What is she doing on my land?" the alpha asked upset as he began to take a step closer to Madison.
"I thought I told you to never allow her to come on my land."
I held onto Madison.
"I won't allow her to be in the house every day," retort Madison.
"That's none of my business," said the alpha.
"Why are you so cruel to her, she has never done anything to you, nor is she the one that prevents you from seeing Red anymore," cursed Madison.
Madison's body jumped as Alpha Deucalion quickly moved closer to her.
"If you call her name anymore, I will forget next time that you're my aunt," warned the alpha.
"Let's leave, Rain," said Madison.
As Madison walked away I tried to take my lollipop from the floor but the alpha smashed it with his right foot and burst my balloon.
I looked him in the eye, hurt.
"Hopefully, the full moon will take you from here, tomorrow," said the alpha acidly. "I pity the unlucky wolf who will have you."
"Rain," Madison again called.
Immediately I left the building with her and we returned home.
"I'm sorry that our day was ruined," said Madison as she closed the door of her home.
"It's not your fault," I told her.
It was sad that I no longer had the balloon or the lollipop. I sat on the last step of the stairs going up.
"What does he mean by the full moon?" I asked Madison.
Madison's head turned to me instantly.
"Oh my gosh, I forget about that," she said frightened.
"I don't understand," I stood up.
"I've just got to know you Rain and now tomorrow night I'm going to lose you forever."
My eyes widen at her words.
