I woke up with the determination to achieve the demand of my brother. I quickly took my bath and put on a denim Jean short which matched my black tank top. Then I walked downstairs to see my parents, James and my best friend, Emily in the kitchen. They were all sitting and eating the pancakes that my mom cooked.
"Morning" I greeted as I sat next to Emily. I stole one of her pancakes and ate it while my parents stare at me with hope shining in their eyes.
"Good Morning" My mother and my father greeted while my friends only hummed while eating.
"Stress about the meeting?" My father asked. I bit my lips, not really knowing what to say. I was kinda pissed that it is the first thing they actually asked me this morning.
"I'm not" I said.
"Okay" I could detect the nervousness in my father's voice. I tried not to retort at him because he is an Alpha and Alpha hated to be disrespected.
"Can you trust me for once?" I questioned softly but the emotions quickly coated my words.
"oh, we do!" My mother exclaimed when she realized that their lack of trust actually hurt me.
"Then act like you do" I grumbled and walked away, leaving them in the kitchen. I walked out of the pack house to see the pack warriors training in the back yard. Soon, my eyes skimmed my gamma. "Josh!" I called to attract his attention. He rose his head and when he saw me, he ran in my direction.
"Yes?" he asked, sounding a little breathless.
"I need the file about the Silver Moon Pack in thirty minutes, I'll be in the Alpha office" I told him. "And Emily is in the kitchen devouring all the pancakes that my mom made, I think you've trained enough for today, Go and have breakfast" I added to my best friend who happened to be Emily's mate. He nodded with a wide smile.
"Alpha!" Someone called. I turned to see William, one of the pack warrior run in my direction. I huffed when I realized that he was shirtless. Damn. He was a fine sight.
"Will, I told you to call me Ava!" I exclaimed while walking in the pack house. He followed behind me and soon we reached the pack office. We walked in, Will took place in a seat while I sat on my father's chair. A feeling of pride soon rose in me, making my wolf howl internally. "What do you want to talk about?" I asked while focusing on his black eyes.
"I was wondering if you've found Avan's brother" he said, sadness filling his eyes. I shook my head, soon, that same sadness flowing to me too.
"We're doing our best, Will. We'll let you know. Can you send Avan to me in an hour or two?" I asked. He nodded and exited the room. Ethan and Avan were twins. They were nine years old. It's been two weeks that Ethan disappeared in the woods. I missed having him running around the pack house. Avan was not the same without him. He would lock himself in his room.
Minutes later, Josh walked in the office with Emily by his side. He handed me a file and sat on a chair with Emily on his lap. "You're upset with your parents?" Emily asked while playing with Josh's hair.
"I am" I admitted. "They don't trust me" I told them.
"They do" Josh reassured. "They are nervous about this meeting because they heard a lot about Alpha Roman" Josh explained. I put the file back on the table and listened to him.
"What did they hear?" I questioned in interest.
"Alpha Roman is known for being the most ruthless Alpha of the continent" Josh told me, I rolled my eyes as I already knew that. "He is stubborn and short tempered. He always manages to get what he wants" Josh explained.
"You're sure you're not describing Ava?" Emily asked teasingly. I playfully glared at her.
"I am not stubborn!" I argued. My best friends laughed and shook their heads.
"You are" they commented at the same time, making me huff. They stood up and made their way to the door.
"We'll let you work now" Josh said, pushing Emily put out the room. I nodded as he walked out and closed the door. Just as I opened the file again, the phone office rang, making me jump out of the seat.

"We'll have to leave for the Black Moon Pack in an hour, Alpha" Zack told me as he stepped in the pack office. I studied the file of the Black Moon Pack and then rose my head to look at him.
"Why don't they come here?" I asked with power reigning in my voice. Zack chuckled and walked to the phone.
"Wait" he said and he dialed a number. Soon, he put the phone on loud speaker. "Good morning" he greeted.
"Good morning" A feminine voice answered. I sat straight, this voice was so enticing.
"May I talk to the Alpha of the Black Moon Pack?" Zack asked in a professional tone.
"Speaking. Who's talking?" The same girl asked. Their Alpha was a girl? The negotiation is going to be so easy.
"The beta of the Silver Moon Pack speaking. What happened to Alpha Erik?" My beta asked in confusion.
"He left for England for three months, so I'll be replacing him" The woman answered. "Is there a problem?" She asked professionally.
"Alpha Roman would like the meeting to take place in the Silver Moon Pack itself" Zack told her. I heard a deep in take off breath before hearing her menacing voice.
"Your Alpha didn't bother to come to the meeting yesterday" She stated , trying to control her anger. "If he wants the land so badly, tell him to move his lazy ass as we're expecting him in an hour" she snapped. Lazy ass? "Or he could just forget about the Silver Crest land" she ended in a calm voice. I stood up and took the phone from Zack.
"We'll be there in an hour" I answered with power in my time so that she would realized that she was actually talking to the Alpha. I wanted to hear her voice shake as she answered me.
"See you in an hour then" she answered with confidence and power in her voice as well. Then I heard the beeping of the phone, signaling that she ended the call.
"Tell me about her" I demanded to Zack as I sat down. He chuckled and sat in the chair facing me.
"She really attracted your attention, right?" Zack asked with a grin. I didn't even bother answering. "Her name is Avanessa Lesnar" he told me while yawning.
"The daughter of the Alpha Lesnar?" I asked, raising my eyebrows in surprise. He nodded and continued.
"Personally, I think she is one of the most beautiful woman I've ever seen" he admitted. "She is stubborn and a little bit short tempered. I mean, yesterday she practically attacked Alpha Darren" Zack chuckled.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because he asked why Alpha Avanessa was the one negotiating with me when the future Alpha was standing right there" Zack explained. Avanessa. I'm looking forward to meet that fiery woman. Zack stood up and made his way to the door. "She also called you Alpha Lazy ass" he said before walking out. What? My eyes narrowed at the wall, my wolf wanting to meet that woman.
"Babe. I'm coming with you" I turned to see lily standing by the door with her hands on her hips.
"No" I snapped as I stood up to close the door on her fucking face. She quickly walked in, while glaring at me.
"I have the right to come. I'm the future Luna of this pack" she said with pride. I growled, trying to control my wolf. No. She was not my mate. But I was already twenty one and I still haven't find my mate. So my father forced me in this marriage.
"It wasn't my choice to make you the Luna" I grumbled and walked out of the office. I made my way to the cells where I saw Ryan and Zack already waiting for me. I huffed when I realized that lily followed me here too.
"What are we going to do with him?" Ryan, my gamma asked as he stared at the little boy who was shaking in the corner of the cell. He seemed to be eight or nine.
"Did he answer you?" I asked.
"No, he is not talking!" Ryan's voice boomed in anger. The little boy was crying in the corner, his arms wrapped around his knees. I could see bruises on his face. Probably made by Ryan. I walked in the cell, and watched as the boy pressed his body more in the wall. He was a rogue. The punishment for rogues who trespasses on my land is death but I needed to know why he was here.
"Why are you here?" I asked, trying to look intimidating. He only shook his head and closed his eyes. I huffed and rose my hand to slap him but Zack's voice stopped me.
"We have a meeting to attend" his voice echoed in the cell. I clenched my jaw and glared at the rogue before making my way out of the cell.
"What are we going to do with him?" he asked with hatred.
"Let him be" Zack muttered while glaring at my gamma. "He's only a little kid"
"He's still a rogue" Ryan spat.
"I'll deal with him when I return back" I told them. Lily snapped her head in the little boy's direction.
"Torture him till he talks" she ordered. I rolled my eyes and walked out of the cell. I am the Alpha here. So I hope Ryan wouldn't be listening to her orders. We walked to the car and I hoped in. I looked at Zack, quickly signalling him to take the passenger seat before Lily took it.
"I'm sitting in front!" Lily yelled in annoyance when she saw Zack opening the door. He stepped in, grinning at me and closed the door quickly.
"Too late" he snickered. I smirked when I saw her glare at my beta.
"You can still stay here" I proposed. She huffed and got in the back seat. I groaned when I realized that she was coming. "Zack, call the Alpha to tell her that we're coming" I ordered. He nodded and pulled his phone out of his pocket then dialed the number.
"Her?" Lily questioned from behind. I nodded and started driving.
"Hello?" The same beautiful answered.
"It's beta Zack" he said. "We're on our way to the pack" he informed.
"How many are you?" She asked.
"Three"
"The Alpha, The beta and the Gamma, I guess?" she asked and I could hear shuffling in the background.
"No. The Alpha, his Luna and me" Zack said.
"I didn't know you have a Luna" she said, sounding busy.
"She will be the Luna" Zack cleared.
"So there will be the Alpha, his mate and you?" she asked.
"Yes" I groaned. For God's sake, she is not my mate!
"Okay. I'll be sending my gamma and my beta at the boundary of the Black Moon Pack so that they will direct you to the pack house. Is that good?" she questioned formally.
"No problem" Zack answered. Then she ended the call. We were like five minutes away when lily decided to open her mouth.
"We're going there because?" she asked.
"To discuss over the Silver Crest pack" Zack answered, making Lily huffed.
"I was talking to Roman. Who gave you the right to talk?" Lily snapped. Zack's eyes turned yellow, meaning that his wolf was threatening to come over.
"Listen you brat! You're not the Luna already. If I want to kick your Ass, I will!" Zack sneered as he turned to glare at Lily who gasped in shock.
"Lily, you don't have to right to disrespect the beta" I told her, making Zack turned to look at the road. Lily was about to talk again but I stopped her. "Lily, do us a favour and shut up"i snapped.
