Roman stopped the car in front of his pack house which was quite similar to mine. I was really fidgety. I wanted to find Ethan and hugged the hell out of him. We all got out of the car and I could feel someone's eyes fixed on me. I slowly turned my face to see Roman already staring at me.
"Can you bring me to him?" I asked, making him nod. Pack members would bow slightly and smiled when we would pass by them. Josh and James were talking with Zack while Blondie was walking next to Roman. I was walking behind them, trying to ignore the jealousy that was creeping into me. Soon, we reached the cells. "Why did you put him in a cell?" I asked in disbelief. Roman stopped and stared at me.
"Because he is a rogue" he told me while opening the door of the cell.
"He is only nine years old" I retorted. Zack and James were staring at me as if I lost my mind. Josh smirked.
"You got your rules and I got mine" he snapped while rolling his eyes.
"Listen, You're on his territory and you respect his rules" Blondie spat. I took a step in her direction.
"Who was I talking to?" I questioned calmly. "Answer me" I ordered when she glared me.
"Roman" she said and I nodded.
"So don't interrupt us" I spat before walking to Roman. "Lead the way" I said grimly. For the first time, I saw him grin. He did look hot when he did that. I wanted to smile at how sexy he looked but soon, it disappeared when I heard crying. My eyes widened and I rushed to one of the cells. "Open the door" I shouted in anger.
"Ryan, opened the door!" Roman's voice boomed in the cell. Soon, a guy ran to the cell and opened the door. I walked in, then froze when I saw Ethan shaking in the corner of the cell.
"Ethan?" I called. He rose his head and my breath hitched when I saw fresh bruises on his face. As soon as he recognized me, I dropped to the floor and he ran to me. He was crying so hard that it brought tears to my eyes. I pulled away to look at his eyes which was already purple. I could feel a tear rolled down my cheek. "James" I shouted and watched as he ran to me. I handed him Ethan and stood up, my wolf howling to come out. "Who did that?" I asked Ethan who was still shaking. He hesitated before lifting his hand towards Ryan. I turned my attention to Ryan and wiped my tear away while giving him a wicked grin. James sighed, already knowing how I was going to unleash my anger. He rushed out of the cell.
"Ava, calm down" Josh breathed, making my grin turned into a glare. Soon, I was lifting Ryan in the air, my fingers around his neck and my claws already coming out. I could see blood dripping from his neck.
"How do you want me to calm down?" I shouted and threw Ryan on the wall on the other side of the cell. "He is nine years old! NINE fucking years old and you beat him up as if he was an adult!" my voice boomed. Ryan flinched and shook his head.
"He was not answering when we were asking him question" He snapped, anger rising in his eyes.
"How can you expect an answer from him when he can't fucking talk?" I sneered, trying not to shift in my wolf. I was already breathing heavily.
"Avanessa, calm down" Josh said slowly, stepping in front of Ryan.
"I only received orders!" Ryan said, clutching to his stomach. No. Don't tell me that Roman would give such orders. I turned to look at Roman who was looking at me in disbelief and wonder.
"You'd give such orders?" I asked, hatred lacing my words. He quickly shook his head but then Ryan talked again.
"No, in fact it was Luna Lily who gave it" he said and pointed in Blondie's direction. I shook my head in disgust then looked at Roman.
"She will suck as a Luna. Good luck" I told him while taking a deep breath. With that, I walked out of the cell with Josh behind me. Suddenly I was pulled back in a chest. By the sparks that I felt, I instantly knew that it was Roman. I started struggling, trying to avoid all the feelings that was engulfing me.
"Calm the fuck down" he said in my ear. He turned me around and stared at me, right in my eyes. "The land is yours" he said with determination and loud enough for everyone to hear. "Lily, you're not becoming the Luna. It's over" he said and a gasp was soon heard. "And you, I'll be seeing you soon" he whispered huskily. Then he let go of my arm and smirked. I kept a neutral face, not wanting to show him how happy I was actually. I simply turned and walked to the car.

"Can you tell me what happened?" My father asked with wide eyes as we stepped in the pack house. I huffed in frustration and motioned to Josh to take Ethan to the pack hospital. My parent's eyes widened when they realized that it was Ethan.
"Alpha Roman is my mate. He though that was a rogue and locked him in the cell for two weeks where he was tortured because of orders which came from the Luna" I told them quickly. "And we got the land" I ended before walking in the house.
"So you're saying that your mate already have a Luna?" my mother gasped in horror. I nodded while James rolled his eyes.
"Actually, The Alpha Roman rejected the other woman after he realized that Ava was his mate" James said. I nodded also to show that it was true.
"What are you doing here? You should be with your mate" My father told me while shaking his head.
"She was going to reject him" Josh said as he walked in the living room. My parents gasped. Why are they always overreacting?
"Avanessa! I'm calling the Alpha Roman" My father announced and walked away without listening to me. I huffed and walked out of the house. Suddenly I felt someone wrapped their arms around my knees.
"Thank you for finding my brother" I lifted Avan off the ground and quickly pecked his cheek.
"You're welcome, sweetheart" I whispered as he buried his face in the crook of my neck. He wrapped his little arms around my neck as I kissed the side of his head.
"Can I see him?" he asked in his little voice. He pulled away to look at me. I gave him a sad smile and kissed his little nose.
"Avan, he needs to rest" I told him. "Why don't you play with the other children?" I said as I put him back on the ground. He nodded with a pout and walked in the direction of the little children who were playing football. With a sigh, I made my way in the woods, ready to shift in my wolf who was dreading to go for a run.
'I'm going for a run' I mindlinked James.
'Okay. I'll inform Alpha Lesnar' he mindlinked back. I blocked him out of my mind and took a deep breath. My mate was the Alpha Roman. I sighed in disbelief. A grin took place on my face when I thought of the possible reaction of my brother.
Pushing the thought away, I let my wolf take over and soon, I was on my paws. My wolf was white with a black star on my side. My wolf howled in happiness and I started running.
'It's good to run!' My wolf's voice echoed in my head.
'Hell yes. Best way to get our stupid mate out of our head' I grumbled but her growl was soon heard.
'He's our mate! Respect him' her demand was loud and clear in my mind.
'He was going to mate another she-wolf' I spat in hatred.
'He didn't know us then' she said. I didn't bother responding to her, knowing that she was right. I kept running till I reach a nearby river. I took a sniff around and froze when the scent of a wolf attracted my attention.
Rogue!
I turned around and growled when I saw a brown wolf. It was definitely a rogue. I stood on my paws to appear more intimidating and bared my canines. The Rogue growled back, making my wolf furious as she took it as a challenge. Suddenly, different scents invaded my noses and I saw more rogues stepping from behind the first one. They were seven and they were all growling at me.
'We're in deep shit' I mindlinked my wolf. I opened my mind and decided to mindlink James. 'James! I'm going to get attacked. Seven rogues and I'm by the river' I mindlinked and soon, one of the wolf lunged at me. I twisted my head and closed my jaw around its neck, snapping on it, causing it's neck to break. I let go of it and watched as the first Rogue lay dead on the ground.
Wow. They are really weak.
The six other growled at me, making my eyes go wide. One of them lunged at me, and I shifted away but another jumped on me and bit on my side. I howled in pain when I felt his jaw tightened on the wound. When he let go of my skin, I scurried away, then lost my balance, falling in the river. I could feel myself shift back to my human form as the current kept pulling me deeper in the water. I tried to swim back to the surface but the current kept pulling me back down. Suddenly, I felt a scorching pain on the back of my head.
I hit a fucking rock.
Soon, I drifted in the darkness and was already welcoming death to me with open arms
