'The Alpha Roman just entered the territory' Josh mindlinked me. I walked in the kitchen to see my parents discussing with some pack members.
'Lead them to the pack office, I'll be coming in a few minutes' I mindlinked him.
'We're in front of the pack house' he announced.
'I'll be there in a few minutes. Make them comfortable' I ordered. I walked to my parents and sat in front of them.
"The Alpha Roman just arrived" I announced. "Mom, dad, please trust me for once" I pleaded. My father's eyes softened and he pulled me in his arms.
"Sweetheart, we trust you!" he said and kissed my forehead.
"We're just nervous because it's your first official meeting and you are going to negotiate with one of the most stubborn Alphas" he pointed out. I rolled my eyes and chuckled.
"Here comes the stress" I mumbled, making them laugh.
"I'm sure you'll do your best" my mother encouraged. I took a deep breath and made my way to the pack office.

"Alpha Roman" The beta James bowed in front of me. I nodded as we stood in front of the pack house. I turned my head slightly to see children playing football and pack warriors training playfully. The Black Moon Pack seems very peaceful. The gamma then motioned is to walk in the pack house. A delicious scent met my nose at the moment I stepped in the house. I sniffed, making Zack stare at me in confusion. He sniffed as well and shrugged. We walked down the corridor and soon we were in an office.
"the Alpha will be here in a few minutes, if you need anything let us know" the Beta James said with a slight bow.
"I hate waiting, so I'd appreciate if your Alpha could hurry up a little bit" I snapped as I sat down. Suddenly, the delicious scent filled my nose again. I closed my eyes and could a deep breath.
"Sorry for being five seconds late" I heard that beautiful voice retort from behind me. I turned to see the most beautiful woman I've ever seen on my whole life. As soon as my eyes met her green ones, everything froze. She was so beautiful and she stood with a stance of power. My eyes skimmed her long tan legs, making my wolf howl in want. Her long black hair flowed like cascade over her back and she slightly bit her red lips.

"Sorry for being five seconds late!" I retorted sarcastically when I heard the Alpha Roman asking for me to hurry up. I clenched my jaw when a delicious scent met my nose. My heart started racing, my wolf already registering what was going on. As soon as the Alpha stood up and turned to look at me. I felt everything disappearing around us. He was so handsome. His green eyes were matching mine. His dark black hair was so messy that I wanted to run my fingers in them. I couldn't help but notice his left arm covered with tattoos. I always had a thing for tattoos. He was so muscular and I nearly combust when I realized that he was checking me as well.
My mate was the Alpha Roman.
"Babe" Everything broke in a fraction of second. My eyes flicked to the blond woman standing next to Roman. I clenched my jaw and ignored the stinging sensation that was evading my heart. Roman's eyes widened and he quickly pushed the woman's hand away. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I walked behind the table and stared at them.
"I'm Alpha Avanessa" I introduced myself, having a little difficulty to talk due to the fact that I had my mate sitting in front of me. Now adding this bimbo next to him.
"Ava, you're okay?" Josh asked with concern. I nodded and focused on Alpha Roman. I needed to focus on the work first. Roman looked a little frustrated but I could see something twinkling on his eyes.
"So about that land" I started, after clearing my throat. I waited for Roman to talk but he was still staring at me.
"Roman" the blond touched his hand, making my eyes narrowed in her direction. Roman blinked and took a deep breath.
"You already have three lands while we have only one" I told him, trying to avoid his eyes. "Why would you like to take the Silver Crest land?" I questioned while opening the file about their pack.
"Will you be able to take care of one more land?" Roman asked seriously. I nodded with confidence. "I highly doubt it" he said making me glare at him.
"Should I mention that out of the four land that you possess, two are destroyed?" I asked with a wicked grin. "We own less land, but all our lands are well taken care of" I mentioned and his eyes hardened. "I really think that you should give up the land to us" I added. Zack nodded in agreement.
"Alpha, I'll personally advise you to accept this deal because this land is only going to be a burden to us" Zack said. The blond scoffed and turned to me.
"We're not giving up" she spat. I glared at her.
"I'm not talking to you" I snapped. "Either you shut up and listen or I'll have my gamma to escort you to the boundary of my pack" I said in a calm voice. She listened and kept quiet but her glares were still persistent.
"I'd like to discuss this personally with you" Roman suddenly said, making my breath hitched. Without even listening to my words, everyone exited the office. Even the blond bitch. James close the door as he walked out.
"So?" I asked while staring at him. He clenched his jaw and stood up. He walked to me, pulling me off my chair, making me crash in his chest. I gasped when I felt the sparks flying on my skin.
"Why are you acting as if I'm not your mate?" he asked with anger. I pulled my hands away and took three large steps away from him.
"What are you talking about?" I asked innocently, making him growled.
"You're my mate!" He shouted. He looked so sexy. Damn, something is wrong in my head.
"No, the blond bitch is your mate" I answered. He chuckled and walked closer to me.
"She is not" he said huskily.
"I am not either" I spat.
"Why are you lying?" he asked with a frown on his face.
"Because she is your Luna" I answered with finality in his voice. I took a deep breath, my heart already breaking by what I was about to do. His eyes widened and I could see pain filling his eyes. "I, Avanessa Lesnar, Alpha of the Black Moon Pack, rejects you, Ro-" The door opened and I stopped talking. My heart broke when I saw Avan walking in, looking so broken.
"Nessie" Avan cried and ran to me. I dropped to the ground, cradling him in my arms. "I miss Ethan" he cried. I lifted my head to see Roman staring with wide eyes. Seconds later, Zack walked and when he saw Avan, his eyes looked like they were going to budge out of their sockets.
"What is he doing here?" Zack questioned. What? I stood up and put Avan on the chair.
"We have a little boy just like him in our cell" Zack said with confusion. My eyes widened and I quickly walked to Roman.
"Is that true?" I asked. He nodded, he looked so hurt by the fact that I was going to reject him. "Bring me to him" I demanded. Zack nodded and we all made our way to the car. I rushed to mine and quickly stopped when I saw Roman walking to my car as well.
"Where are you going?" Blond bitch asked with one hand on his hips.
"We still need to talk about the land" Roman mumbled and sat in the driver seat. I glared at him as he opened his palm so that I would put the keys in his hand. Finally I gave him the keys and slipped in the passenger seat. Josh hopped in the backseat while James drove with Zack and Lily. "You were going to reject me" Roman snapped, ignoring the gasp that Josh did from behind.
"Yes I was" I snapped back. "you already have a Luna for your pack!" I snarled, jealousy overwhelming my wolf.
"That was before I knew I had a mate!" he argued.
"Can we not talk about that?" I snapped in anger.
"What do you want to talk about?" Roman asked, suddenly sounding really calm. "You were going to reject me" he said, staring at the road.
"I know I shouldn't be talking but Ava always act in the heat of the moment and she has a short temper" Josh said from behind. Roman agreed to his statement.
"I do not have a short temper!" I argues as I turned to glare at Josh.
"You do" Roman mumbled.
"You don't know me" I grumbled.
"That's not a reason to reject me" He snapped. I huffed and my eyes widened in disbelief.
"Are you going to talk about that each two fucking minutes?" I questioned. Josh laughed in the backseat while staring at me.
"You two met fifteen minutes earlier and you already look like you're going to kill each other" he commented.
"How would you feel if you knew Emily had a boyfriend?" I questioned and he instantly shut up.
"I assume that Emily is his mate" Roman said from beside me. I nodded.
"Where did you find Ethan?" I asked Roman.
"Ethan?"
"The little boy?" I asked.
"On my territory" he said. I nodded again. Not knowing what to say.
"I feel like I kind of ruined your situation by coming in this car with you, right?" Josh said while scratching his neck.
"You bet" Roman grumbled. I shook my head and stared at the trees as we made our way to the Silver Moon Pack.
