"I'm not going to stay here all day!" I exclaimed while staring at Roman in horror. He was expecting me to stay indoor while he would be out.
"I'll send my cousin and you'll go shopping together, if you want to" he sighed while staring at some paper in front of him. We were currently in his office, arguing about what I was going to do during all day.
"I hate shopping" I retorted grimly, making his head snap in my direction.
"The first time I heard that" he said with a smirk. Wow. He did look good. I threw my head back and stare at the ceiling. Oh God. I was dying of boredom already.
"Because I'm not materialistic girl like Lily" I told him calmly while swinging my feet in the air.
"What do you want to do?" Roman asked, making me freeze. I sat straight to stare at him with a smile.
"I want to go for a run" I told him, to which he immediately shook his head. "Why not?" I huffed.
"Another day"
"Train with your pack warriors?" I tried even though I knew the answer already.
"No."
"Go for a drive? I don't know the surroundings" I sighed.
"I'll tell my cousin to accompany you" he said and I smiled. At least he was letting me do something. I walked out of his office without saying a word and ran straight to my room. I put on my shoes because I was barefoot. I sat on my bed, my phone laying next to me. Maybe I should look for something to wear for dinner tonight. I walked to my wardrobe and without losing time, I started shuffling in it.
Ooooh that's nice.
I pulled out a nice black long dress. It was simple and beautiful. I took off my clothes and put the dress on. A smile crept on my face as I stared at my reflection in the mirror. My long black hair and the black dress contrasted with my white skin.
"You're so pretty" I heard a girl say from the door. "But the shoes don't match" she continued while sending a disapproving glance. I turned to see a cute blond girl standing by the door. She was quite chubby, and that made me want to pinch her cheeks. "I'm Arora, The Alpha's cousin" I smiled.
"I'm Ava. His mate" I was always so bad at socializing with people.
"You'll be wearing this for tonight?" she asked, making me nod.
"Yeah, it's beautiful and simple " I told her, trying to actually converse with someone.
"Roman is not going to like the fact that it's backless" she told with a pitiful smile. I shrugged.
"One of the reasons why I should wear it" I told her with a grin. Her eyes widened in amazement. She walked in the room while staring at me and shaking her head at the same time.
"I like you already" Aurora breathed, making me laugh. I took off the dress, leaving me in my bra and my short on. I watched as Aurora's face changed. It went from happiness to sadness. But still, she managed a fake smile. I put on my shirt on and looked at her.
"What's wrong?" I asked. My wolf sensed that something was wrong with her. She was feeling down. I took a step on her direction and smiled reassuringly. "You can tell me " I said and motioned her to sit on the bed.
"I just wish to have the perfect body. Just like yours" Aurora said. I frowned. No one should feel so bad about themselves. I quickly shook my head and sat next to her. We were both staring at the wall.
"Well, no one is perfect, Aurora" I told. "You're what, sixteen?" i asked and watched as she nodded. "You should be happy the way you are. I mean you're so cute and beautiful. You should not wish to have the perfect body. You should wish to be able to love your body" I told her. "And you're still young. You can still work out, eat well and healthy" I added.
"You'll make a great Luna" Aurora said as she lifted her head to look at me.
"Yes. She will" I heard a feminine voice said from the door. I turned to look at a brunette standing by the door. "I'm Ellie" she said. "Her sister. Roman told me to take you shopping" She continue. Oh. All this time. I thought that Aurora was the one who was going to bring me shopping. Aurora stood up and suddenly, she wrapped her arms around me. I blinked several times times before finally hugging her back. I could sense that I made her feel better.
"I'll see you around" Aurora said as she walked away. I smiled then turned to face Ellie. She had long black hair and piercing blue eyes. She seemed to be around my age.
"So Ellie, what's your age?" I asked.
"Eighteen" she said. I nodded and offered her a smile.
"Same" I said. "You're driving?" I asked, making her nod. She seemed a little but distant. As we walked to the main door, I noticed that she was in some deep thoughts. "Is there a problem?" I asked. She rose her head to look at me.
"No" she said while smiling. "Thank you for reassuring Aurora" she continued. "She always has been worried about her weight. I feel like you made her feel better about herself" Ellie said.
"She's beautiful. She needs to see it. People need to tell her often. That's how her confidence will boost up" I explained. "Her self confidence is really low" I said while shaking her head. "I'll make sure she feels better about herself and knows her real worth. And you as her sister, needs to do the same" I told her.
"I do!" Ellie exclaimed. "But she thinks I say that she's pretty because I'm her sister" she added. I chuckled.
"We need to change that then" I told her and watched as she nodded.
