Alpha Deucalion was filled with wrath when he saw Bazaar. His blood was boiling for revenge. He growled showing his sharp teeth and speedily ran to him.
"Kill him!" Bazaar ordered his men.
His men shifted and stormed after the alpha ready for their kill.
I ran for cover inside a building terrified. From a broken window I watched worriedly as alpha Deucalion fought with the six werewolves. They were no match for him. He killed one in less than a minute ripping their heads from their body, and sputtering blood all over the ground. Each time he made a kill, the heavy rain pouring down washed away their blood. As if it was cleaning up after him. It was now down to two werewolves competing against the powerful alpha. My eyes motioned to Bazaar standing in the rain.
"Kill him you weakling!" he shouted infuriated. Knowing he was losing, badly. None of his men could kill Alpha Deucalion. They were no match for him.
Alpha Deucalion growled with rage at Bazaar, killing the last werewolf. I covered both ears and lowered to the ground at how loud his growling was. My ears ache from the terrible sound.
I hurriedly stood up and again looked through the window as I heard another fight begin.
Bazaar was in his grey werewolf that was as large as Alpha Deucalion. I bite my bottom lip worried as they fought, praying that Alpha Deucalion will win. Alpha Deucalion grabbed Bazaar by his neck with his sharp teeth and threw him into a tree. I smiled seeing he was winning.
"You will never be his Luna, human," I heard an angry voice behind me.
I quickly turned around. It was Kate.
"I'm going to happily kill you," she told me as she began to shift into her human form.
I ran from the building. I was no match for her. She was too fast. She caught up on me.
Her beast was soaked in the rain as he growled at me, slowly approaching me to make her kill.
I quickly looked behind me searching for Alpha Deucalion. He and Bazaar were nowhere to be found. I could not hear them either, the loud sound of the rain was overshadowing every sound.
"Alpha Deucalion won't be able to save you now when I bite your pretty little neck," said Kate.
"No Kate, you don't have to do this."
Not looking where I was going, I fell to the ground. My dress was now covered in mud.
Kate laughed.
I remained on the floor trembling in fear as she paused at my feet.
"Please don't kill me," I begged her.
"Everything was fine when you weren't here and look what you made me do. You made me betray him," Kate muttered angrily.
I know at that moment that no matter how I plead to her. She will never show me any mercy. She wanted me dead because of Alpha Deucalion.
I screamed as she jumped into my chest and stuck her claws into me. Her mouth lowered to my neck Ready for her kill. I remembered I had some wolfsbane in my pocket I had taken from the witch cave. I quickly reached for it and threw it into her face. She inhales it. I immediately moved away from her as she fell to the floor and her feet started kicking. I cried, scared as I watched her take her last breath. I had used too much wolfsbane on her.
Alpha Deucalion had seemed to hear my scream for help. He was running towards me. He paused at Kate's seeing she was dead.
"I didn't want to kill her," I cried to him.
"She chose death when she decided to betray me," retorted Alpha Deucalion.
He knew Kate was the one who had led Bazaar to his pack.
Alpha Deucalion quickly looked away from me hearing a sound. He hurriedly ran back in the direction he was coming from. I followed him. When I got there I saw him on his knees naked in his human form howling angrily. Before him, was a hand, a familiar hand. Bazaar hand. It seemed he had eluded after Alpha Deucalion came to rescue me.
I felt so bad that I was the cause Bazaar had managed to escape. If only I was strong he wouldn't have left Bazaar to save me. I lowered myself and held him from behind, trying to comfort him.
The rain had finally calmed down until it eventually stopped.
Alpha Deucalion shifted into his beats. I walked by his side as he scan his home for any clue where his pack could be. The only dead body there was the six men he had killed and sadly along with Kate. I looked at her body as we passed wishing it didn't have to be that way.
"Could they all be captured by Bazaar?" I asked concerned.
Knowing Bazaar after losing an arm to his nephew he might be torturing them right now.
Alpha Deucalion in his beast form. I could see worry on his face.
"It seemed they've managed to escape," Alpha Deucalion answered.
His dark nose raised, trying to pick up any scent that could lead him to his pack.
"I hope so," I retorted.
I wanted everyone within his pack to be safe. I would not be able to see Alpha Deucalion broken losing more of his kind.
"Can you pick up their scent?" I asked.
"They've hidden it."
I nodded.
What they did was good. At least Bazaar won't be able to find them again.
"Can you find them?" I asked.
"I'm not sure."
"Get on my back," Alpha Deucalion instructed me.
I hurriedly did. He ran with me through the forest. I cling tightly to his back which felt like hours. Deeper and deeper within the forest. It was dark. I could barely see around me. He stopped and slowly growled. Suddenly I saw a number of glowing eyes emerging from trees and bushes. It was his pack. He had found them. I smiled and slid off his back.
"Brother," Cali came running to him.
Her head rested on her brother as she hugged his large furry head.
I looked around me as we began to be encircled by his entire pack members.
"Kate betrayed us," Cali told her brother. "I secretly followed her and found out and return to inform the pack before Bazaar could find us."
"You did well, you will be a great leader one day," Alpha Deucalion told her sister.
She smiled.
"He wants to be the alpha and he won't stop until we've chosen his side," a male spoke.
"Tomorrow, I shall put a stop to him, once and for all," said Alpha Deucalion.
"We shall fight against you!" the men said angrily.
"And I too," I wanted to join him as well.
Alpha Deucalion looked at me.
"My people are being fooled by him and I want to prove to them that he is a werewolf," I told Alpha Deucalion as I raised the cloak in my hand the witch gave me that Bazaar is using to act as a human.
"It will be dangerous," said Alpha Deucalion.
"As long as you are at my side. I know I'll be safe."
He nodded.
"Tomorrow, Bazaar shall be no more!" said Alpha Deucalion.
